@ the Diglett thing- Not sure, but I kinda imagine Dugtrio using stuff like shadow claw using it's 3 heads. That's how I see it.

@ the Sandshrew thing- I only remember using the Sandshrew line about 2 times, in runs. The first one died, and the other one is currently a Sandslash. I'm hoping it will go to the league. And Lycan, I believe Pokemon Outlaw is a hack where Sandshrew is a starter. But I don't know much else other than it's mostly a text hack.

@ the Nuzlocke thing- The latest crazy nuzStory I have is from my X run.... I got an Aerodactyl fossil. Yes. And I got it BEFORE the fossil lab, so just in case the lab counts as one encounter, I don't need to worry so much. That is saying something, because before that I kept getting mons for my rock smahing.

How do you expect Diglet to dig otherwise? Logically it has some claws hidden under the surface, unless it eats all the sand it digs out.

True true... Though I definitely wouldn't want my Pokemon cutting a prickly thorn bush... Why can't we just burn it?

Do you know Pokémon Rusty? It shows a good explanation of how not to deal with HMs. If not, you should really check it out! It's a series of short films made by Dorkly. The main character starts with a Kakuna named Pikachu and follows Red on Twitter.

I should play Rusty..... After I'm done with Platinum, haha. So far I got Turtwig and Shinx, planning on Rhyhorn and Poliwag, dunno after that. :D And I love Bibarel used it in my other two Sinnoh runs lol.

Also Outlaw is a hack for Kanto that isn't exactly 'kid friendly' but it's really fun at parts. The twist ending sheesh. And then the post ending chill girl. ANYHOW though yeah Sandshrew is a starter along with Pikachu and Vulpix, it's basically a 'ghetto' version of Kanto.
