Personally, I found Hilbert's design to be pretty cool! I just... wish his English name was anything else except Hilbert, haha. I don't even know why. xD

I feel Hilbert is overshadowed by Hilda as the more loved BW protagonist. I guess it's because of all the fanart depicting Hilda shipped with N.

Then again, Hilda is one of the few tomboyish female protagonists out there.

Remember when Generations was a thing? The protagonists from Gen 4 and 6 never appeared, lol.

I think the original design which is the vest and tunic one is much more better looking than the current one. Dunno, he looked much more younger compared to his past self.

I definitely hate SM Ash most of all. That outfit is literally his laziest because it is a carbon copy of the SM game protagonist, only with colour swaps.

Basically Delia Ketchum lost her crap and decided to educate Ash in a Pokémon School so he won't screw up in the league again.

A rather funny slice of life series rather than adventurous for known reasons, where they want to tell the personalities of most characters and things to know in Alola before the 'actual plot' thickens...at least that's how I deem it.
