How about um... "Sit, [username]!" It's from inuyasha, and I think it would be really cute. XD I also think we should do something that ties with the pokemon master like "[username] just became a pokemon master!" or "[username] wants to be a pokemon master". Either one would work fine.

That sounds like quite a bit of hassle for a relatively minor feature, honestly. ): I think it's more fun when your welcome message is drawn from a huge random list than when it only shows the ones you pick. I also kinda question what the point of setting a custom greeting for yourself that no-one else can see is anyway, haha.

I kinda see your point, though if you made this much effort already in implementing different welcome messages I think it's something to consider.
