My Chemical Romance - Vampire Money

"The kids don't care if you're all right honey
Pills don't help but it sure is funny
Gimmie gimmie some of that vampire money c'mon!

Hey you look like somebody I used to know

And now 3-2-1 we got the bomb
Everybody hurry till the taxman comes
Glimmer like Bolan in the morning sun
And get your finger on the trigger
Tap the barrel of the a gun

Hair back, mother****er!
Jet black, so cool
Sing it like the kids that are mean to you (c'mon!)"

MCR was asked to do a song for the soundtrack of "Twilight". They turned it down, then wrote this. :}

Nightmare - The World
(aka the Death Note theme song)

I only know a small amount of bits and pieces of Japanese, so I can't tell what he's saying. The upside to being a metalhead? It isn't bothersome to listen to something when you can't understand the lyrics!

Defeated Sanity - Naraka.
Some obscure Brutal Death Metal.

Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek

Much more interesting than what Jason Derulo did with it.

Au5 & Fractal - Blue

Drumstep as usual, nothing really suprising in my playlists

Twenty One Pilots- Johnny Boy

One of their older songs from their first self-released and self-titled album so it's not as known as any of their songs off Vessel.Still it's a really fun song with a catchy tune and some rather good lyrics about an average man who doesn't know how people he's cared about and has the ability to do more than he thinks.

Seven Lions - Fevers feat Minnesota & Mimi Page

This song has the cutest lyrics ever

Imagine dragons - Radioactive

And Song of the dragonborn

Skyrim soundtrack never fail to give me goosebumps eveytime i play it :D

Becoming the Archetype - The Time Bender

I am the end
I am the start
I am holding your beating heart
Day is night, dark is light
Eternally self existent!

I've only heard one of this band's songs (that I can remember), but he has a pretty cool voice.

Oh, Sleeper - The Family Ruin

(The steel marries his skin...)
No! It's not worth it! It's not worth it!
(I cut him down) [x2]
He didn't have to fall
It's your fault! [x2]
You lost control
And now you long to go back
And rewrite your thought
But I won't let you slip away
Not this time [x2]

This time you're going to learn what it means
To receive the very mercy that you denied
When you denied the means to believe
I keep feeding you the fruit that you need
But you spit it out to further your doubt

And now he can't go farther...
'Cause he'll never wake to see his daughter cry...

Apparently this song is in connected to a different one of the same band, which explains some parts where the lyrics are unclear.

P.O.D - Beautiful

"She hides all the pain inside
By filling up her arms with pretty little lines
She cuts with no intent to kill
This time she didn't do it but someday she will

Life is beautiful
You share a little love with the whole wide world
Every boy and girl sing a song
When we sing why-o, why-o

And hey, you're beautiful
And there's enough love for the whole wide world
Every boy and girl sing along
When we sing why-o, why-o

And hey,
I know that you can find a way
You're beautiful to me
No matter what the people say
It's all gonna be okay
You're beautiful to me"

I know somebody who I'd love to sing this song to. :l

A rather un-metal-like song from Payable on Death; who's one of the only "Christian Metal" bands I actively listen to. The video is amazing, if only because one thing. It's the only place that I've ever seen a Splendorman that looks good.

Splendorman. :D

The video can be found Here.

^The above song is too upbeat for its own good haha [;
(I'm more of a metal fan, but I have heard that before and it isn't too bad. The chorus is cheesy, though.)

Red - Death of Me

I found this song a long time ago, but I still like it. The video is interesting, as well.

P.O.D. - Goodbye for Now

Another song that I listened to a long time ago. One can't even very well browse through the youtube comments on this video without running into people going off about the fact that the song includes a small amount of vocals by Katy Perry from before she became well known.

Hall, this is your fault. D;
I put on the song you posted and here I am now, listening to music I normally don't.

Lol, it's not like 'Death of Me' is any less cheesy, Jess. X)
I do agree with you about the video though.
However...

Pop Evil - Trenches

"No time to hide
I'm alive on the inside
Breaking up my mind on the front lines
When I survive, when I survive another day
This great divide
Side by side on the inside
Breaking up our minds on the front lines
Never again, never again will I be denied
Here I come

'Cause here I come

I've waited all my life to get out of the trenches
I'm ready to fight for what I believe you can steal from me
I won't take this
Gonna fill these trenches and stand up

Wake up, I won't give up
'Cause here I come, here I come"

I prefer Heavy Rock over Metal, mostly.
The lyrics alone don't easily convey the amazing-ness of this song. Video

That guitar cam. <3

Spoiler:

Wolves at the Gate - Slaves

My feet be quick for this racing heart
Come morning's light will the chasing start
With the fear of pursuit comes a fear of the flight
And if I stop, they will shoot, so I continue to hide
In the cover of the night...

This is one of those songs that I couldn't understand parts of prior to reading the lyrics. I guess I have yet to fully adjust to the way metal sounds haha.

LORDE - Team

Honestly this song is better than Royals. It's pretty much states her feelings on living in New Zealand and how it never gets as much attention as big cities such as New York and LA. Also it's her being tired of having to listen to what the pop music artists have to say.
