so I guess this is the album where they shift from warm, ambient IDM to cold, glitchy and distant IDM. it had been shifting for a little while but here the transformation's done. not sure whether I like this style or the former style more.

I find that with this album I'll listen to it like five times in three days, then set it aside for a month, rinse and repeat. pretty sure the five times in three days part just began anew.

A metal song with cheesy lyrics.
I don't care, I love the unclean vocals.
 
"Silk Lettuce Whitney Houston 9" ~ LA Lakers

this album is really bizarre. it's very pretty, but it doesn't feel like much more than that. Hecker-esque, kinda.
 
"Spray" ~ Can

this has been awesome so far, and much better than Tago Mago which was already pretty damn good.
 
Listening to the newer Lightning Bolt album by Pearl Jam. Eddie Vedder is the GOAT, guys still got it. Sirens is a great song, so is the title track.
 
Neon Trees - Living In Another World

I download their new album today on iTunes. Holy crap. it's so good! I'm liking this song in particular.
