2nd Gen What did you get from the mystery egg?

The first time i got a shiny magikarp!
The second time i got a shiny larvitar

How? You can't even get them from the mystery egg.

Chikorita=smoochum
totodile= elekid
cyndaquil = magby
But ocassoinly you get the rare igglybuff

That's not true. I got Magby but my starter pokemon was Totodile.

I've been doing resets for different eggs. Trading over to Gold for the cloning exploit.

Got:

Elekid shiny
Magby shiny
Smoochum non-shiny
Pichu shiny
Igglybuff shiny

I think that its just Cleffa I need.

I have restarted my crystal at so many times I must have had them all at some time. In my current file I have not reached it yet and actually forgot about it lol. It's been a while.

I remember clearly that I got a Pichu. I had just finished watching that little short (I think it was before the Unown movie) with Pikachu and the two Pichu in the city, and I thought they were the most adorable things ever. I remember being so happy that I got Pichu, and I also didn't know you could get other baby Pokemon from that egg. Oh well.

It may have been Shiny, but I'm not sure, since the colors were similar. Oh, and I believe it evolved into a Pikachu as well. Good times.

I loved that little firey Poke from the moment I laid eyes on it. ^o^

Never did evolve that little guy.. Magmar's design is just so.. icky. :x

ive started a new game quite a few times...i always get a tyrougue, shiny iggybuff, or a shiny cleffa
i started thinking that was all i could get =/

I hatched that egg just once before, i got a non-shiny Pichu.
I was like 'wtf' when i saw it has Dizzy Punch, i never saw anything else than Kangaskhan having Dizzy Punch before.

The first time i got a shiny pichu and on the second, a shiny smoochum.

First time through it was an Elekid, the most recent was a Magby :D

I got a shiny Cleffa. It's now a shiny Clefairy. The cool thing is, Clefairy are extremely rare so having a shiny one seems like the best trophy. Though it's just by coincidence. I still love it though. ^_^
