What has anime taught you?

Tentacles are never a good sign.
Spoiler:

There are a lot of things in life that are very, very apparent - they're there in plain sight and you'd even deem most of these things as ones that belong in the realm of common sense. But they still, at times, fail to dawn upon you.

One such thing is this - 'Others will not be able to truly understand what you feel deep down unless you actually open your damn mouth to straight-up tell them about it. People aren't psychics. No matter how much you'd wish they'd get you, they'd only get you once you make them get it'.

This was emphasized really well in the anime Kimi ni Todoke which I finished quite recently. I mean, seriously, it is SO obvious when you think about it. But I still had a "whoa! that. is. so. true!" pop up in my mind while watching it.

There are, of course, many other things. Things such as the following:

>strength is inversely proportional to how dense one can be in matters of love
>if you keep breaking your body in pieces, you will one day be able to throw trucks (shizu-chan #durarara)
>you cannot think of stu without thinking tatSTUya (tatsuya but you get my point)

...and I'll add more as I remember.

What Anime has taught me?

Umm... Lemme think about that.... Oh yeah! Anime has taught that when some fight are really freaking long and that people talk alot before they talk.... You basically have to be patient ( I'm looking at you Dragon Ball Z)

It taught me never to use the Sharingan twice in one day, not to use Jutsu's hastily and NEVER to do eroges! :') It's better then a parent!

It also taught me how to use Sexy No Jutsu but that is not necessary, as my face is smokin'.

That apparently sexual harassment isn't illegal in Japan.

On the positive side, that yelling really loudly can stop time, make any device work, give you superpowers, and blow stuff up.

Anime has taught me that you can fight monsters, frequently brush by death and yet still do well in high school and not have everyone notice that you have supernatural powers. Also, when you get attacked in school, somehow everyone who is 'normal' vanishes and/or decides to go home earlier than usual.

All men ... are NOT created equal! Some are born swifter afoot, some with greater beauty, some are born into poverty and others born sick and feeble. Both in birth and upbringing, in sheer scope of ability every human is inherently different; Yes that is why people discriminate against one another, which is why there is struggle, competition and the unfaltering march of progress

I guess you could say that all men and women are born with their own individual values?
Spoiler:

Yep. Code Geass helped me change my views of life forever. Well actually I'm kidding, but shows like Code Geass with its philosophical point of views did help me realize that many anime creators really have this thing of sharing their world views and all of that through the characters portrayed in their respective shows. Its shows like these that really make me philosophically think about what was done and all that. The same thing could be said with Death Note as well.
