I mean, Pokémon can have two types, so why can't their moves? I realize this isn't terribly likely to happen, but I thought it would make an interesting point to discuss.
Of course no every move would be double typed; in fact, most probably wouldn't be. One good example of what this could be applied to is the elemental punches. Giving them their respective elements makes sense, but wouldn't it make more sense if they were Fighting + <Element>? Other examples:
Will 'o' wisp: Fire/Ghost
Scald: Fire/Water
Dragon Claw: Steel/Dragon
Bullet Punch: Steel/Fighting
Sacred Fire: Fairy/Fire
Leech Life: Bug/Poison
