    I've seen many weird an unusual names, but I want to know what they mean?

    What was the inspiration for your username?

    My name can be broken down into this:

    Hikari - Japanese for "light", also Dawn's Japanese name

    10 - October, my birth month

    Pretty simple name, isn't it?
     
    It's just a name I made up back in summer 2008 when I hatched a Scyther. I was also supposed to be joining a friend's forum to mod there and I had been trying to think of a name. It stuck. And eventually, I started using it here. Then went back to my original...then Sydian was STOLEN by the EVIL Hiiro. Then he went back to Hiiro, then I went back to Sydian, since I was already known by it anyway lol.

    My original username, SilverSmeargleSplatter, is just something I made up in the hallways after I saw PC at school. Didn't wanna register while I was at school, so I waited til I got home, iirc. Silver = favorite color and PokeSpecial character, Smeargle = one of my favorite Pokemon, Splatter = Smeargle making silver splatters :3c
     
    It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Charlie is hilarious. There's not much more behind it than that.
     
    I tried finding random usernames, that just happened to be words. Or something like that, but I ran out of words to use and they all sounded corny. So I went to colors, and I liked the sound of "cyanic" so I just switched spellings around.
     
    Pachy is derived from "Pachirisu" Of course I didn't like the looks of 'Pachi' so I dropped the 'i' and added a 'y' to make it more gender neutral.
     
    I was looking for something out of the ordinary that ended with -ity. I mushed out truth and reality together and made this. After a while, I searched and saw this word actually exists and has an urban dic meaning lol
     
    Kyoko Honda from Fruits Basket :) She's my favorite character from my favorite manga series.

    I've said this many times, but I got my current username from this fellow right here. His name's Roswell Branthèse, head of the Black Rose House in Yggdra Union/Unison. And he's a Necromancer and able to summon skeletons <3

    So, in other words, Roswell, New Mexico or anything else alien-related had no influence on my username whatsoever.
     
    Two past usernames (DanPhantomFan and DigiPeachFruit) were part of the inspiration behind my username, as well as Digimon. My username went through stages (I suppose it 'evolved'), and it eventually became BinaryPeaches. So basically...

    DanPhantomFan: Original username on a Danny Phantom forum I went one (this was before the existence of Dan Phantom mind you).
    DigiPeachFruit: I wanted a name change on the forum, but wanted to keep the acronym everyone called me by (DPF).
    BinaryPeaches: I was having a Digimon chat with a good friend of mine, and we were making a play off my username - DigiPeachFruit, the Peaches are Binary - because in the Digital World (Digi = Digital btw) everything is made up of Binary Code, and thus the Peaches in said Digital World would be Binary. Eventually, I decided to go with BinaryPeaches - The Peaches are Binary, as it had a better ring to it.
     
    [SIZE="a"]My name. And some numbers. It doesn't sound weird and the 2 Rs in it allow me to be easily recognized by IRL friends, so I went with it.[/SIZE]
     
    Meganium90 = Meganium (my favorite Pokemon) + 90 (my birthyear)
    It's really simple. xD Meganium was taken here at PC, so I just had to add a random number for it to pass, so I added 90, and it did. xD

    My alt account, Anistorm...did had some background history to it.
    It was junior year in high school, and each of my classmates at school had to choose a nickname for themselves instead of being called by their last names. My friend used my IRL surname Ani, and the word Stormy, because of my huge interest in the weather. At first it was Anistormy, but it was really awkward. So I dropped the Y, and that's how Anistorm was born. xD
     
    It's actually a portmanteau of my name and my surname XD It was the only word I could get out of it that actually sounded like a word and not a garbled mess, so I stuck with it XD
     
    Since my original username, 05jamesd, was really common and unoriginal I really wanted to come up with a better one that nobody else would have :3
    At the time I part of a sprite spilcing group on a yugioh forum and I always liked merging pokemon sprites with the pokemon train sprites which I was told were called Hybrid Trainers. So yea, that's thats where it came from xD
    I also went by Pokeball Trainer as well for a while but it didn't stick.


    I have such a nooby name ;_;
     
    The day I registered, I also found this, and out of my incapability to think of something better, I used it as my username. And regret it, because 50% of the few VMs I ever get are about that :):):):)ing name
