I'm really not sure which section this should go in, so if you have to move it, my apologies in advance. It's primarily about your own personality, so I think it may fit in OVP.

So, to the question: What is your alignment in real life? What about online? Are they different? (If you don't want to take the time to read them all, I guess you can just say the standard, good/neutral/evil. It won't be as fun though. :P

When I say alignment, I'm referring to alignments from Dungeons & Dragons. Full list in this spoiler, courtesy of Wikipedia:
Spoiler:

My answer: I'm like 90% Neutral Good, and 10% Chaotic Good... so I guess I'm "Neutral Good with Chaotic Tendencies." as it says in the Variants section.

Whenever I take quizzes, I'm always lawful neutral. :x I've taken this kind of quiz multiple times and I always answer honestly (although I do better at the ~modernized~ versions rather than the fantasy/medieval-based D&D ones) and I always get the same result. I'm generally the same person online as I am offline so it's probably accurate in both worlds.

Neutral good with a hint of chaotic good. Normally I think it's silly to destroy systems just for the sake of destruction but I'm militantly anti-authority. xD Lawful good is hypocritical to me. I would be evil but I have too much of a conscience. xD Also sometimes I'm a bit true neutral.

I'm between neutral and lawful neutral; there are times when I can't decide between 2 alignments, so I stick to the borderline of both.

Most quizzes I've taken usually put me in Chaotic Neutral or Chaotic Good, but I have been placed into True Neutral from time to time.

I guess my alignment depends on my mood.

True neutral in a heartbeat! This bit excerpted below sealed it for me:

Many roguish characters who play all sides to suit themselves are also of this alignment (such as a weapon merchant with no qualms selling his wares to both sides of a war for a profit). Some Neutral characters, rather than feeling undecided, are committed to a balance between the alignments. They may see good, evil, law and chaos as simply prejudices and dangerous extremes.
That's like me all over, as I'm very pragmatic, both in the online and the offline worlds.

This thread didn't come with a link to take a test. I had to take a whole 5 seconds to google one! Actually, I took two since the first one seemed kinda simplistic.

Anyway, both said I was Neutral Good and reading the description you provided (which, I suppose, makes up for the lack of a link) sounds about right for me. I care about what's right and doing good things.

Took these kinds of tests before, almost always listed me as chaotic evil strangely enough although I did get neutral evil at one point.

I took a quiz. Result:

Based on your answers to the quiz, your character's most likely alignment is Neutral Good.
Neutral Good
A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. The common phrase for neutral good is "true good." Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias toward or against order.

Chaotic-true neutral, that is, between the two. Probably closer to true offline and chaotic online, what with the nature of the Internet being as it is.

Going by the descriptions, I'd say I'm probably Neutral Good creeping towards Chaotic Good, although I do hear a bit of myself in Chaotic Neutral.

So, about 3 years ago I took a test and got Chaotic Neutral with a tendency towards Evil (don't ask me why I still remember that, but for some reason I do), today morning (right before a PC downtime that prevented me from posting my result right then), I got Neutral Good with a tendency towards chaos. So apparently I have become a better person, which I think to be true - I think I'm a lot less of an egoist than I used to be when I was 17, and while still excessively lazy am a lot more likely than I used to be to help people rather than find excuses.

I am totally Neutral... sometimes I act really happy, then sometimes I feel evil.

I feel a lot like a tricky person when I'm having my sarcasm moments or especially when I'm laughing. Yeah, you never knew how sarcastic Hikari can be until you see how funny I am in the trivia sections.

I only had to read as far as Chaotic Good to discover that that is exactly what I am.

A Chaotic Good character favors change for a greater good, disdains bureaucratic organizations that get in the way of social improvement, and places a high value on personal freedom, not only for oneself, but for others as well. They always intend to do the right thing, but their methods are generally disorganized and often out of alignment with the rest of society. They may create conflict in a team if they feel they are being pushed around, and often view extensive organization and planning as pointless, preferring to improvise.

This is me, exactly. Except for that very last part - I do like to plan things because I think the outcome is often more successful when you do lol.

Chaotic Neutral all the way. Fits me perfectly, aha. Took a few quizzes and it's the only answer I get.
I'm overall a pretty nice person, but yeah, I'm very selfish about certain stuff. Really cool results.

I'm the same on the internet and real life, but I act a lot more like a Neutral for both places than Chaotic Neutral. My closer friends know more about me, but I don't like people seeing those negative traits of mine.

I took a quiz and pretty much got what I'd expected, Chaotic Neutral. I'm pretty much what the description says, I don't really care about rules most of the time and just do whatever I feel like doing.... though I don't really know whether that's a good thing or a bad thing, lol.

And I'm pretty much the same online and offline. Though I have to say I'm a lot nicer online because people online seem to get offended a bit too easily.

I'm probably Neutral Good. I try to do the right thing but I don't always feel the way things are done are the right way to go about it, haha.

i'm chaotic neutral.
Spoiler:
at first i thought i was lawful good or something, but i felt that it didn't really embody me. the moment i read the chaotic neutral's description, however, i felt that it captured at least about 85% of me. i do feel like i'm a free-spirit, imaginative, and rather unorthodox in my thinking (at least, in the current society i am living in).
my online alignment is pretty much the same, i believe.
