What motivated you to join PC?

    Simple question.

    My answer is a bit mixed actually. I was once a member here long time ago but I got bored with everyone ignoring me so I left. Came back because I was looking for a community site of Pokemon, and boom I'm here.

    Your story?
     
    When I was trading events, I joined this and many other sites at the time to look for more places to collect event pokemon. After I stopped trading I would rarely come here, mainly only to comment about the latest Naruto chapters in the Naruto Club and that was about it. Now I came back for I don't know why and just socialize in multiple forums of the site. And since then I have been here just about ever day.

    The thing that still is my main activity here: Challenges. I somehow stumbled across the Ultimate Monotype Challenge and wanted to play it. So I registered to post progress and stuff.
     
    Well, back when I joined, it was the love of Pokemon. But I have gone off it in the past few years so I am just here for the community and people.
     
    It was the only place I could find with a reasonably active Metal/Colour generation discussion forum.
     
    I came here for better fan fiction reception, and to find more fans of Pokemon Special. Look at me now, barely in my forums of origin. Ho hum.
     
    to find common ground with people and socialize, and although i still feel out of place PC has gotten the job done better than anywhere i've ever established myself
     
    ...Actually, I joined because I was looking for Pokemon images, forget to click the image button and the first site is The PokeCommunity Forums. The link was actually for an RP and joined because I wanted to well, join the RP section. I got bored and went to the General Pokemon Forum, Pokemon Fanclubs and boom. I'm here.
     
    I was looking for games made with RMXP when I found out about this site and the starterkit for pokemon games.
    I became interested and joined after lurking for a while.
     
    Originally, I joined because it was a Pokemon forum, and I was joining Pokemon Forums out the wahzoo, and I heard about this one after SPPf and BMGf. XD;

    And...then I rejoined later for Shiny Gold. u_u;;
     
    I came for DEM HAX of course. It was the fateful Shiny Gold that acctually brought me here! I'll never get over Zel quiting, BUT, I soon got interested in a lot of the stuff going on around here! :D
     
    I once joined PokéCommunity in order to advertise Pokelight Forums, a community that I once held close to my heart. But now, Pokelight has closed down after a failed merger with another forum.

    Now that I've lost a home, I've decided to spend more time on PokéCommunity. I'll just be one of the anonymous faces within the crowd, as I was before I found Pokelight.
     
    I came here just because i was bore with PKMN.NET and Serribi Forums.
     
    My brother wanted help with Pokémon Emerald, so asked me to find help on the internet. I found this place and just joined because I'd recently left the forum I'd been on until 2008, and wanted a new community. Never been a huge fan of Pokémon, I've only ever played Ruby. I would post in the Pokémon sections sometimes in the first few months I was here, but the large majority of my posts have been in off-topic sections.
     
    Rom hacking was the primary reason behind why I joined PC.. Even though I gave up on it.
     
    My initial join date was long before the release of D/P (and thus the creation of the wifi trading section) and the release of Shiny Gold (and thus the reputation PC has as a mecca for Pokemon ROM hacking). So that rules out the two biggest reasons people have nowadays. XD

    I joined because R/S had just been announced and I wanted to join the speculation machine. I made this account years later because HG/SS had just been announced and I wanted to join the speculation machine again. XD
     
    I was introduced by Asty (Astinus, for those not familiar with her nickname). But I was being mistreated on another forum, which gave me all the more reason to remain active on PC.
     
    Yep. I came here for the ROM Hacks.

    I forget how I actually found it though... I think some guy from youtube that was helping me learn how to hack at the time, told me about it.
