What question that you hate to answer?

"Have you thought about your future?" "Are you going to spend your whole life doing X or Y?" "Why don't you have a girlfiend?" "Why are you a virgin?"

**** off, it doesn't matter to people how I should spend my life. I might hate it as well, but it's my own decision.
 
The biggest one I hate answering the most is, "How many other girls are you talking to!?" XD
I also hate answering questions about my ex's as well.

I don't know. I'm sure this one is said with kind intentions. For me, it implies that my mental state is not okay. It implies that there is a problem, and it triggers and often exacerbates the problem in my mind. I'm such a hardheaded and prideful person that I don't like discussing my thoughts in real life. I don't believe that anyone would know my mind better than I do. People who speak this phrase to me don't really know what's going on with me lately because I failed to verbally express even 3% of it. I'm not a talker, and if they seem to think something's wrong already without me not revealing much, I have to wonder if I am already tenfold in the deep end. If you want to cheer me up or check up on me, buy a pizza for me. ; ;

I hate this too, for a different reason - if people ignore it, act like I'm not upset, then I can get over it. The second people start recognizing it it gets worse and I can't stop myself from crying and it's so embarrassing and just leave me alone people god

I dislike this question just because I'm embarassed of my music around some people lol. Like when I'm listening to music at school people will just ask me this.

"How have you been?" / any variation
I hate these types of questions because the standard response is always "good" and I'm not comfortable answering the opposite because the people who ask me these questions aren't usually that close to me (ex. my parent's friends, etc). Plus, questions with already set answers are boring.



I really hate this question too, because the only reason people think my younger sister is my twin is because she's taller than me. I've actually gotten asked "How does it make you feel that she's taller than you?" I mean... what? Only annoyed because people like you keep commenting on it lol.

I feel my brother and I get asked this question only cause we're about the same height, and both have similar facial hair... -___- I hate the "are you guys twins?" question so much!!

And "What are you eating/drinking?" when they're right in front of me and can easily see for themselves.
 
I don't find most questions annoying but I don't enjoy when most people ask me about my PhD because of how pointless the question is. I usually just break it down into its most simple parts and still get subjected to watching their eyes glaze over before the awkward silence until the topic changes. I don't know what they expect... Don't ask unless you're a scientist!
 
i seriously hate it when someone asks me what career i plan on pursuing after im done with school. i hate it so much because i am a person that has no clue what to do after college and im trying my best to figure out what i will do. it wouldnt be such a problem if every single person in my family or close to my family didnt ask me this. after answering "i dont know" about 100 times you would think people would get the hint.
