What should I do now?

So I've finished the game, filled the dex and so on... I'm not entirely sure what to do next.

Anyone got any suggestions what I should focus on? I've found one shiny (Feebas, not at all competive) but don't have a foreign Ditto. I've tried to do some breeding, but I only have a 4IV Ditto and have never really done any breeding before. I've tried some battle tree, but I'm not very good at it without competitive pokes. I've got about 100 BP from battle royals, I'm not really sure what to focus on, anyone got any suggestions of what I should do?

    Now... Let's go practice medicine.

Shiny hunting through SOS Battles is pretty nifty! With the charm, it's around 1/680-ish chances. And usually have 4 guaranteed IVs.

I recommend doing that. You wouldn't believe what people send my way for the shinies I don't care for. XD

Just got my first shiny through actual shiny hunting! 61 SOS encounters for an Adamant 4IV Lilipup, just a shame its attack is so useless!

S.O.S Chaining, challenging the E4 repeatedly, challenging the Battle Tree/Battle Royal, and doing the UB missions are pretty much what SM's post-game has to offer. Unfortunately, it's not quite as expansive as most people (including myself) would have liked, but at least there's something to keep us busy until the next games are announced, I think.

I know what the post game has to offer, I'm just more after some advice on what is good to do - I'm considering getting in to breeding but don't really know where to start.

Oh, that was more generally speaking rather than acutally informing you since I know that you knew, haha.

And I want to get into breeding myself, but I know I'd have to get a foreign Ditto first, and those are... kind of a pain to find.

Oh right, well currently shiny hunting is going well for me as I've just found a shiny Eevee after 68 encounters... I just don't know what to evolve a calm Eevee into - Umbreon?

And yeah, a foreign 5 or 6 IV Ditto would be the dream!

Another good postgame sidequest you can do is the Island Scan, which makes you scan QR Codes to catch rare Pokemon not normally native to Alola. You only need to accumulate 100 points on the QR Scanner and then do Island Scan where you have one hour to find and catch the Pokemon.

There's seven Pokemon on each island found through this method, and each one is only found on a certain day of the week. They unfortunately don't have hidden abilities but they do come with an egg move.

Give all your Pokemon to me and restart your game!

    My own personal quests are:

    1) Living Alola Dex
    2) Aprimon quest.

I occasionally take a break and do Battle Tree. I was lucky enough to get a 6IV JPN Ditto in Wonder Trade (with Pokerus too lol)

Lucky you. Shinies don't usually show up until past 70. (Then again, I've had the same happen with Vulpix and Pikipek, so, hooray.)

I keep busy through this profession for trading them away for other Pokémon around here and other places. Try doing that.
