1st Gen What was your most OMGWTF moment in B/R/Y

It was in Yellow, when Brock defeated my Rattata and my Spearow, resting only my Pikachu against his Onix. Well, most attacks of Onix missed and I defeated him using Quick Attacks =D.
The other moments were when I encountered Zapdos & Moltres!
 
Capturing Mewtwo with a Pokeball. Sleep and 1HP left due to Hypnosis & False Swipe. Best combination ever.

Also, before, I had a battle to see who could win in a fight- Lv. 70 Mew or Lv. 70 Mewtwo. Mew won. Note- I was 8 when that happened.

when i was against gary and i have my mew and in against his blastoise i used metronome because one friend say, use it, what can else happen?, and it used selfdestruct xD
 
In yellow when i realised that pikachu stayed out of it's ball. Thats my fav part of soulsilver =)
 
Just took Yellow out. Went against the Elite 4 for the heck of it. I'm at Blue, perfect, he's stuck with his only Vaporeon (but I only have a Mew) and I used Metronome. I GOT SPLASH, OF ALL THINGS! I thought it couldn't get worse, so I used Metronome again. I used Explosion and he survived with 1 line of pixels. I black out and go back to the Indigo Plateau.

Worst. Battle. Ever.
 
WOW lots of ppl have a "special" moment
there was once i was playing yellow and i didnt know how to use flash or wat is was for so i jst leveled every single one of my pokemon to like 40 something or so wit random battles, trainer battles etc (really had no clue wat to do). 2 weeks later i found out how to get through and from then on my pokemon failed me time and time again :(
 
Going through the Rock Tunnel without Flash and discovering the next day that you were supposed to use it. XD
 
My moment wasn't actually something that happened in game, but it was when I borrowed Yellow from my cousin when I was younger, and I caught Mewtwo for him without using the Master Ball (I was quite impressed with this feat after reading my Pokemon handbook that said the only way you could catch Mewtwo was with the Master Ball). I was so excited that I decided to go call him, and I left my Game Boy on the couch. Somehow, my sister got a hold of it, started a new game and saved over his file all within 5 minutes. I can tell you for a fact that neither one of us would let her come within 50 feet of our games for years.

I always found the unfailing reliability of youngins to save over other people's games amusing. It's deliberate in all cases, I think.
 
I remember this. My sister borrowed my Yellow and she played Pokemon and beat it. She sold all the Rare Candies she got because she didn't know what they were for. I told her later. It was funny/sad, but she was at level 60-something.
 
Attempting to go through Seafoam Islands. I could never get passed it on the original games. The first time I spent 2 WEEKS trying to figure it out. Then for some reason I flew to pallet town (not knowing I could surf down to Cinnabar) I saw the water and decided to see "what was down there" Now I only go to Seafoam to capture pogeymanz. (I did actually get through it once in FireRed)
 
For me it was how strong Blue's Pokemon were. You guys aren't gonna believe this, but when I first named my Rival, I thought Professor Oak was just asking MY name again to make sure it was right. I speak english as my main language, but I was 6 at the time, so it was slightly understandable. Both houses said "ChrisTom's House"
 
My first game (red). I was in celadon (i think) and i was in the pokecenter, and i noticed for the first time the other half of the building where the link station was (i only had 3 pokemon, so no use in going over there i guess haha) and they said that i need a friend to go into the rooms. so i go out in the game to try and befriend the people in the city! haha so im in the hotel thats there, and there is this kid on the couch and he says something like "i wish that i had a friend to play with" and i must have prompted him to talk at least 20 times while yelling at my game boy screen that i could be friends with him so that we could go into the link room! hahaha
 
I saw missingno and I was like WTF IS THAT. xD
....I never caught missingno.....
 
the first account i ever had i found missingno by accident, i though my game was broken.
 
When I first got Blue I used to cry and scream when I couldn't lower a Pokémon's health in the Safari Zone. I thought throwing rocks was meant to be an attack.
