4th Gen What'd you think of the soundtrack?

Its all fabulous ecept for the gym music. I find the long pause incredibly annoying for some unknown reason.

Well usually I hear the Pokemon music (Currently HG/SS music) randomly. Im just walking or sitting or something and *poof* I can hear the exact music O.o (Music is stalking me O.o) Its usually the battle music but sometimes PC music also. So does this happen to any of you? Or am I just wierd -.-

Not really, even though I listen to Pokemon music a lot. It's really awesome though, yeah?

I am always in heaven because I played the first Pokemon games with the cruddy, 8-bit music when I was younger. I always remember the original music, and it's always stuck in my head, but it's the best. And that's why the GB Player is TOTAL WIN. Thank you g'nite.

lol, this happened to me once. It wasn't the exact song, but it was Pokemon.

The songs were okay, the one I love the most is the cerulean/Fuchsia theme.

It was nice, but the GB Player is amazing.

Yeah I love using the GB Player, and was excited to finally get it after getting all 16 badges. Pretty much have it on HG whenever I am playing through Heart Gold just for the awesome memories.

At least the music in HG/SS is way better than D/P/Pt. And it's less GBA'ish. The Gym Battle themes are awesome.

I love the National Park music, so nice and calming. Very elegant for a Pokemon game.

As I FINALLY got a SoulSilver ROM working i've just PokeSaved in the GB player and listened to both the normal music and the GB player music. (don't call me a "stupid hacker", I just don't have the time to play through the game legitly before I get my REAL SoulSilver -.-)

ALL the music in the game is amazing, whether the GB Player is activated or not. My favorites are:

-Ho-Oh battle theme
-Raikou battle theme
-Indigo Plateau theme (<3333333333333333333333)
-Bike theme
-Ruins of Alph theme
-cave theme
-Johto wild pokemon battle theme
-Johto trainer battle theme
-Kanto wild pokemon battle theme (the first four seconds are AMAZING!)
-Looooooooads of others that I can't be bothered to write down.

HG/SS has amazing music, but the Indigo Plateau one is just.... AWESOME imo.

I can't wait to get my legit copy of SoulSilver. <3

btw: The only themes that disappointed me were Lugia's theme (...umm... what were they thinking? It's really boring to listen to >.<) and Entei's theme (just like Entei is inferior to Raikou and Suicune, his theme is inferior to their themes imo..)

I loved the themes, when I first turned on the game I actually jumped from the bells. Although personally I didn't like the remix of Pallet town...but that's just me.

I loved the music for heartgold and soulsilver, especially the trainer battle theme, gym leader battle theme, and Lugia's theme. Oh, and Ho-oh's battle theme too. I think they did a pretty good job with the soundrac overall. But if you don't like the music...

If you beat the 8th Kanto gym leader, you can go to celadon and go to the third room of the apartment complex, where a guy will give you an item called GB Sounds, which plays original Gold and Silver music in place of the original sountrack!
