Well I'll be picking up SoulSilver, my team would consist of:

Cyndaquil > Quialava > Typhlosion
Dratini > Dragonair > Dragonite
Sneasel > Weavile (Possibly)

Those are just some suggestions for my team. Typhlosion is a must but the other 5 I don't have a clue.

Or Dragonite inplace of Pidgeot. And I know of a Electric weakness but that'll be covered with Steelix or Charizard w/Earthquake.

P.S. I never did haircuts / minerals on my Pokemon; they evolved at will by themselves, especially Crobat, of whom I never even handed the Soothe Bell I recently acquired.

will replace Kadabra and Ninetales with Mewtwo and Ho-oh (only to beat red)

also, working on my lv 43 Pupitar and Dragonair (these took forever to evolve.....DX)
 
So far in ss it's cyndaquil and hoothoot. Just started about 30 mins ago. R4ds, no freezing as of yet.. If wifi works this might turn out to be my main pkmn game.
 
Soul Silver - Typhlosion, Fearow, Gyarados, Scizor, Lugia

I used only Typhlosion and Fearow throughout the E4 :/ The rest were something I decided to use against Red. Turns out Lugia by itself was enough.

Arcanine/Ninetales (undecided on which version i'll have)
Alakazam
Umbreon-possibly, might decide no Eevees
Politoed
Dragonite
Lanturn (if no Umbreon)
 
Well, I haven't been going that fast so far but...
Quilava - Has very high IVs in Attack and HP.
Flaffy - Not sure
Pidgeotto - Haven't checked
Graveler - Same

I've been EV training them from the start (don't criticize my ways). Need to start training my Togepi and a Sudowoodo. MORTY SHALL DIE BY MY FLAFFY!
 
I will probably be using Feraligatr, Pidgeot, Growlithe, Victreebel, Haunter, Poliwrath. But Im still not so sure. I might change my mind.
