4th Gen When do you catch your first pokemon??

I caught a HootHoot first, which is now at about level 20, along with the rest of my Pokemon

Caught a sentret as my first pokemon in SoulSilver. I'm really proud of it, helped me beat most of the gyms in Johto, once it evolved though, of course.

I catch only good pokemon, so the first thing I caught was Gastly at the bellsprout tower D:

I usually just catch and USE the one who will be my main lineup in the whole game. Like, i started catching pidgey and geodude and all that stuff, but i just took them in the PC even if i did have more space for pokemons. The first one i catched and used was Gastly. My started was Tododile btw ^^.

I caught a Pidgey as my first pokemon on the first route. It's a habit, since I usually catch the flying pokemon that will learn fly first. =\

The first Pokémon I caught was a Pidgey. Interesting, huh? I really wanted a Mareep and stuff, but you couldn't get one until Violet City, I think. I was going to catch a Hoothoot, but then I saw a Pidgey and caught him instead because Pidgey has two other evolutions, rather than one.
