When worlds collide!

Skye shrugged and looked away, feeling drowsy once more. Tsubasa cawed softly, trying to soothe her. Needless to say, the girl was not convinced.

She clutched the pendant her mom had given her when she started out on this journey. It was warm in her hands, but not from her own body heat. It warmed, and then faded slowly, as if something had come near, and walked away very slowly.

"I miss them," she whispered to Tsubasa.

"Of course you do, Skye." Exodus said, even though it was to him, it was as loud as a regular voice because of his ears. So whispers were too easy to hear. "You were raised by them, you were loved by them, you were cared for by them. If you didn't miss them, I'd fear you were to much of an elf, and not enough angel." He said with a gentle chuckle at the last part, but he knew he would only get the joke, cause she's never been around an elf before, with the exception of him. He then took a troll legs and started eating it.

Meanwhile I moved on to is abdomen, I was surprisingly hungry, and this troll was surprisingly good. "This is really good!" I exclaimed as I finished the finger and the peice of forearm.

"What did you expect, human? Me to cook something that wasn't good!?" He said laughing.

"They act more like barbarians than a human and an elf." I said in disgust as I watched them eat. I closed my gear box, having lost my appetite. ' i guess I'll turn in for the night." I stood up and walked over to my tent. I climbed in an then went to sleep.

OOC: hey, if it's okay, can we speed the clock up, considering that there are at least 3 people that can no longer post anything but an OOC post?

OOC: I'll try to get it moving a bit...hope no one else minds. ^_^

IC: Skye awoke the next morning, feeling no better than she had when she went to sleep. Tsubasa nuzzled her gently, giving her comfort. She thanked him with a kiss on his beak, and went into the forest to ready herself for the day.

All she had packed in her bag were work clothes, but she figured that she would want nothing spectacular to wear since they would be fighting evil things right and left. She pulled on fresh undergarments, pants, and shirt, and tied her belt around her waist. (OOC: Her outfit looks much like Chihiro's from Spirited Away, except a grayish white instead of salmon colored) She slid on her sandals at last, and washed her face in a stream.

"Long day ahead," she said softly to Tsubasa, when she returned. "I can feel something dark moving about...and I doubt it will be suprised to see us..."

OOC: thanks. anyway, one thing I don't get: how can they say 'salmon' colored? do they mean like red salmon when thay've been in freshwater too long? or do they mean like the saltwater salmon, pure silver? or even pink and green. I'll shut up now.

IC:This far in the caves, I wouldn't know it was daylight by sunlight, but when I woke up, my vampire side instantly alerted me to the fact it was daylight and it didn't like it. at that the demon side just told it to shut up. I got out of bed, and thanks to my magic powers at work, my clothes didn't have a speck of dust on them, and my hair was absoloutly perfect. the blood on my teeth delt with dental work. I considered going to wake up the dragon, but decided aginst it. best not to get roasted.

Since the dradon seemed to be a late sleeper, I got out a research paper on demons that I had gotten a long time ago but never read, and started flipping through it. wihten moments I found the demon attacks section, and looking through the desriptions of the attacks, found one that seemed to match:

Final destiny: Ultimate Demon attack, the demon gives up every inch of it's power to engulf a huge area in darkness and wipe all life forms in that area off the face of the planet. Not much is known about these sudden and powerful attacks, as they only seem to occur when a demon is conserned about somebody else, which is a rarity. It is said that a super-powered demon can have Final Destiny cover the whole planet, potentially destroying it.

I woke up, and the first thing I noticed was that there were the scents of two other creatures in my cave- "Oh wait, the vampire and that strange dragon." I thought as my memories from the last few days rushed back. I travelled through my mountain too the guest room where the vampire was, transforming on the way there to fit the smaller tunnels, and gently knocked on the door.

At the sound of him knocking, my brain halfway freaked out, as any sound was extremly unexpected and yesterday's events were still fresh in my mind "yeah, what is it?" I called, after my mind straightened out and reason put itself over instinct.

OOC: Why does my brain always freeze up when people ask something like "What is it?"?!

"It's morning," I began "And since you still prefer to stick to the shadows, I was wondering if you'd like to take a small tour of my mountain." I finished, though feeling like I hsouldn't have said anything.

OOC: becasue, shiney, the- *babbles on for a few moments about absoloutly nothing* and, I can't spell.

IC: I paused for a moment, considering the danger potentialy involved, then mentally berated myself for suspecting the dragon of anything. I opened the door, and noticing he was once again in his human form, said "a tour sounds great! I've been wondering how big these caverns are!"

"Well, most of them are made to accommodate a large dragon, but they just go throughout the interior of this mountain. It's rather simple, but I don't have a taste for the over-guady, at least not in my construction." I said, leading her out into larger caverns. "My hoard however, is an entirely different manner. How about I show that to you first?" I asked as we reached where the tunnels were large enough to fit a small dragon in comfortably, so I shapeshifted into a yellow dragon about the size of an orca.

"Very well then." I said, leading her along a short distance, taking only a few minutes of walking, until we reached a large gate made of grey limestone in contrast to the dark brown to black rock of the mountain. I placed my claw on it, and gently pushed it open, revealing my hoard. The room was large enough to incase a small city, and it was almost filled with riches. Stacks of precious minerals, gold, silver, platinum, organized into stacks of bars, loads of ore, and piles of coins of different currencies. All sorts of enchanted weaponry, armor, and trinkets, countless works of art, securely mounted to the walls with magical seals. Countless piles of gemstones, and other treasures beyond listing, all catching the light of several enchanted torches mounted on the wall, which would not go out.

"I didn't live over twenty thousand years without getting something to show for it..." I couldn't help but comment.

'Holy-" i muttered, scanning through the pile. it was pretty well known that demons and vampires had as much of an attraction to jewels as dragons, but they tended to be only after thier favorite, in my case, rare black diamonds, which were virtually impossible to find. I had seen large amounts of wealth before, but this was something else in it's entierty....

I couldn't help but grin at her comment. "I'm glad you like it, I don't really have that many people I can show off to... In fact, you're the first." I said, and I walked over to one pile where I had my most recent collection of gemstones, and began sorting through it, looking for something...

"Not really, if I keep it organized, this stuff here is only things that I've gotten recently, and haven't had a chance to sort through yet." I said, still searching.

OOC: Why can't I log out? Strange...
