ooc: So in you trying to sound technical, you're basically saying your going to speed up time and then stall for time. :\
 
OOC: Must an argument start in here every other page!?

BIC: Celeste was torn. She followed Donnavon, though she kept her distance. She stayed about a hundred feet from the log where he was, close enough to keep an eye on him, but not alert him to her presence.

ic: I sat there pondering what to do. Intruth I still loved my parents very mcuh, but I also could not deny my love for Celest. I hear d asound behind me, and I coudl tell by teh heavy foot falls it was my dad.

"I heard what you told your wife back there." he said behind me.

"Go away."I said forcefully, flaring my wings. I could sense him falter but then continue till he was sitting on teh log next to me.

"Son, I'm sorry for what I said, but you have to udnerstand I only said those things because I care about you."

" If you care then you'd let me be happy instead of ask me to leave my wife."

" I see that now, and I'm sorry. We were afraid we'd lost you when this whole thing started, and we were so happy to see you again that we didn't want to give you up. A married man does not live with his parents. We jsut wanted to hold onto you a bit logner." With that he got up and began to walk away. "I see that you ahve changed a great deal, and for the better. If you like, you and your wife are welcome to stay with us for a couple days." He then continued back through the trees towards the cabin. I sat their absorbing his words, before sighing deeply.
 
Celeste grimaced as the man walked by her. She had no idea if she'd been seen or not, but it didn't matter. She walked to Donnavon and sat down lightly.

"Donnavon?" she asked slowly. "Do you want to talk?"
 
"Maybe he was being genuine. He might really want to make restitution. It's not like we have anything to lose..." she said slowly.

"It's you're choice, Donnavon. I'll follow you on whatever path you choose."
 
"I know he's sincere." i siad. "It's just the changes in attitude. They may be teh same, but I'm not. And attitudes will reflect that. Btu we need a place to rest." I said, standing up. "And unlike a hotel this won't cost anything so I guess we're staying."

"How rude!" a voice shouted from behind me I turned around and was startled to see Moonlight. " i take a breif nap before going up to the mountain and you guys killed everything already! Then when I find you again I see Donny has new wings! That wasn't fair! You guys left me out!" She pouted.
 
Celeste grinned. "Well, if you'd like to be the one fused with Latias, you shoulda been awake!" she teased gently.

She suddenly looked to Donnavon. "Does Moonlight know?" she asked, casting a glance at her fingered ring.
 
I fell totally silent, listening to his heartbeat. this was ideal, to me at least. even the kids seemed to understand my temporary desire for silence.
 
"I'd have to agree with you" I said with a slight smile. but I was conserned. despite his strength, I knew that he was a considerably old dragon. and I couldn't help but wonder how much time he had left..
 
"Moonlight!" Celeste said with an immense flush. "Must you always say things like that!?" she said in a mock exasperated tone.
 
"Yes I do." Moonlight said proudly. " And I;m proud to be the sense of realism in this group. Now if I heard correctly, which of course I did sinec i have the hearing of a wolf, you'll be staying the night in your parents' house. Now you better explain to them quick who I am and get them to let me stay too, because if I have to sleep outside, then I won't be the only one." She said. I began to feel a little anxious. moonlight may no longer be bothered by the evil tendencies of her heritage, but would my parents understand that?
 
After a few more moments of silence, I slipped out from under Nido's arm, and paced the room. I was stressed for some reason, even if I couldn't identify why..

Alzara on the other hand didn't seem stressed at all, but rahter got a mischevious look in her eyes as she suddenly nipped at Smaug.

I was indeicisive for a few moments, watching smaug blow smoke rings to try to keep Alzara's attention off of him, but soon followed Eclipse, immidiately asking "What's wrong?" As soon as i got in there.
 
"I'm not sure" I said, though my pacing didn't change. my tail lashed, as my frustration built. I couldn't find the cause though, and that only served to stress me further..

Alzara had ignored the smoke rings, and she started going for Smaug's belly, until finally Beldaran finally decided enough was enough and knocked Alzara away from him.
