Which game(s) had the best human characters?

What the title says!

The Pokémon games are mostly about the creatures, but we have a very wide range of awesome human characters as well. Which game(s) do you feel had the best ones?

Scarlet/Violet. Enjoyed Arven (after the rough first encounter), Iono, and Clavell. Always watches Mela's walking animation too, if that counts.

Ofc as usual it's DPPt for me, because I enjoy most of the characters, but yeah SV have a good set of characters too tbh

I think Black and White (and by extension B2W2) had the best human characters out of the mainline games, and Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia had my favorites from the spinoffs.
