4th Gen Which Kanto/Hoenn starters did you choose?

Which Kanto/Hoenn starters did you pick when you got the options?

I picked:
1st time: (Chikorita) Charmander, Mudkip
2nd time: (Cyndaquil) Squirtle, Sceptile

I never use grass types, except for genV, in HGSS I chose the firetype. :3

I'll leave this thread open for discussing which starters you choose from the Kanto/Hoenn selection in HGSS (that is, Charamander/Bulbasaur/Squirtle and Mudkip/Treecko/Torchic) but I'll note that we already have a thread for the Johto starters, so keep discussion on those to that thread please.

I went with Charmander and Torchic. I'd have liked to have chosen Mudkip but my sister beat me to it.

In FireRed I started out with Charmander. In Ruby I started out with Mudkip (I also did for my recent Emerald Nuzlocke)

Luckily for me, I have two brothers who enjoy Pokemon as well...and for some reason, the starters always turn out the same. I end with fire, my older brother with grass, and younger with water. It's never been questioned, just happened! :)
