FR: Bulbasaur
LG: Squirtle
RU: Torchic
SA: Mudkip (Its now a Lv 100 Swampert without being cheated on)
EM: Treecko
 
Or (Gold FR): Héricendre (Cyndaquil)
Argent (Silver FR): Héricendre (Cyndaquil)
Rubis (Ruby FR): Poussifeu (Torchic)
Saphir (Saphirre FR): Poussifeu (Torchic)
Jaune, bleu, rouge (Yellow, blue, red): Salamèche (Charmander)
Diamant/Perle (Diamond/Pearl): Tiplouf (Piplup)
Colosseum/XD: The basics of Orre
 
Firered/ Charmander
Leafgreen/ Squirtle
Ruby/ Mudkip
Sapphire/ Torchic
Emerald/ Treecko

ruby i went for treecko,
stuck with that for emerald,
got bulbasaur on firered
broke the mould in leafgreen when i went for squirtle
and then went totally off the rails in diamond. chimchar is just too cool!
 
Leaf green : Bulbasaur ( wrong choise )ut,i have blastoise too
RSE : Treeecko ( easy for face legendary ex.rayquaza )
Fire red : not play
 
In either Sapphire or Emerald, I can't remember which, I choose Mudkip. In FireRed I choose Charmander.
 
I ALWAYS grab the Fire starters, in D/P this was almost a necessity due the the lack of fire types in sinnoh.
Although if given the option i wud of grabbed eevee. (yes i was the rivals first pokemon in yellow so it is classed as a starter)
 
-Torchic for Ruby (Liked Blaziken at first)
-Treecko for Sapphire (Grew to like Sceptile more than the other starters)
-Charmander for Fire Red
-Squirtle for Leaf Green
-Treecko for Emerald
 
I usually get the fire starters; Charmander in Fire Red, and Torchic in Emerald. I chose Piplup when I started my Pearl game, but I think I'll restart it so I can choose Chimchar. It feels like wild fire Pokémon tend to suck a bit, hahaha!
 
I always chose, Squirtle & Mudkip, as I liked Blastoise & Swampert, respectively.
 
I chose Torchic and Squirtle. I chose Turtwig in Pearl to add difference :P
 
Ruby: I chose Mudkip. Cause I liek Mudkipz. And a great counter for Rayquaza and Groudon
Sapphire: I chose Torchic because Blaziken and Own the the E4's
Firered: Squirtle. Cause the version is fire so I wanna oppose the version
Leaf Green: Charmander! Charizard is awesome.
Emerald: Treecko Cause I never used Treecko before.
