Who was your favorite starter

I myself was rather fond of Torchic, its evolution Blaziken was arguably the best starter in the 3rd gen(not just for its unique type either ;))

Cyndaquil all the way. During battles against the rival in crystal, Feraligatr, or any water type, was no match since Typhlosion could learn thunder punch. As a little kid playing crystal, I usually used my starter all the time, and since cyndaquil NEVER once died by the time I was at the elite four, typhlosion was lvl 97 with no rare candy cheats!! lolololol
I gotta say, I like turtwig though

I always like the starter with the highest HP:

1st Gen - Bulbasaur
2nd Gen - Chikorita
3rd Gen - Mudkip
4th Gen - Turtwig

Out of all of them, I got to say Mudkip, hands down.

I always start with the water one for HM use and because the first gym is almost always rock, but here's my favorites:

1st: Squirtle
2nd: Cyndaquil
3rd: Torchic

Cyndaquil. I love fire types, and he's just so cute lol. And since Yellow was the first game I played, Cyndaquil was the first starter I had that I chose myself, so I got attached to him. Squirtle would be a close second though.

Erm, Cyndaquil was a Metal Gen starter, not a Colors Gen.
