Who Would Be Your Starter in Real Life?

Hmm? Would it be one of the region starters, given to you by the regions Professor at the start of your journey, or perhaps your parents got you a Shinx for Christmas when you were six? Who would your starter be, and how do you think you would get it?

** Please be realistic, don't say, "I got an Arceus cuz he's the GOD of the Pogeymons." No.
*** Also, do you really think your parents would have allowed you to get a Charizard at age seven?

If I chose one of the beginners, I would want a Squirtle, because Wartortle is one of my favourites!

But, if I could have anything....hehe, I would want a Slakoth! A little hard for a beginner, I guess, but I still think it's a good Pokémon. A Machop would be cool, too!

Charmander. I would so love to ride on a dragon flying in the skies.

I would probably get a Chikorita, my absolute favorite starter and I would love that. Or I had a dream I was in Kanto and on my way to obtain a Charmander and I found a hurt Koffing in pain so I went with that, missed my chance at a Kanto starter so I used that and journied with my favorite pokemon (Weezing is but Koffing is as well being it's pre-evolution)

Eevee, because I can evolve it to many kind of stuff. XD

My other option would be Cyndaquil or Chimchar though.

If it came with an Everstone attached, it would be a Chimchar. I'm not really a fan of Monferno or Infernape, but I love Chimchar.

If not, a Bulbasaur or a Turtwig. x3

If it were Kanto pokemon, Squirtle definitely. I love Blastoise. If Johto pokemon, either Cyndaquil or Chikorita. Hoenn, Torchic, and Piplup if Sinnoh. I love water types, but I don't like the fact that Totodile doesn't learn many good water attacks.

    At Johto: Cyndaquil.
Why? Well because there aren't a lot of powerful fire types on Pokemon Gold, Typhlosion would be the best.
    At Kanto: Charmander
Why? When he evolves, he can fly. I mean who doesn't want a fire breathing dragon?
    At Hoenn: Treecko
Why? He's actually the best grass type. I mean extreme speed and best moves. Leaf Blade ftw.
    At Sinnoh: Piplup.
Why? I hate chimchar and turtwig doesn't do so good when starting the game.~_~

I'd love to have a Cyndaquil, but I don't think it'd work out too well because I'm not so good around fire. D: So I'd probably take Chikorita when choosing from the starterlist. :> (Ugh but your comment about Shinx makes me want one'a them tooo~ <3 I'd probably choose that over Chikorita if not restricted to starters. 8D)

Squirtle. it's my favorite starter. I'd get it from prof oak though. My parents wouldn't caputre me anything cool XD

(Ugh but your comment about Shinx makes me want one'a them tooo~ <3

Haha Shinx would be fun, wouldn't it?
I'd either start with a Houndour or Shinx, and if a region starter, it'd be Totodile.

If I were to start off with a beginner starter in a region, then my choice would be Squirtle. He's been a personal favorite since I first played FireRed and LeafGreen and after seeing what a performer it can be after watching May/Haruka's in the anime, I really started liking it more. However, my only wish is that I wouldn't like it to evolve. I would rather have it remain a Squirtle and prove to competitors that a Pokémon doesn't have to be evolved just to be strong.

As for the case of choosing a Pokémon that I receive possibly by my parents or maybe one day come across as a child and end up keeping it, I would hope to start off with an Elekid.

i would want a pikachu just because i like a challenge. Pikachu is one of the toughest to train.

I don't think that the League would give starting trainers a rare and powerful Pokemon in real life, not to mention that some of them breathe fire. If Pokemon were real, then I think that all new trainers would have to choose between Rattata, Sentret, Zigzagoon or Bidoof as their starter. That's my theory anyway.

I'd choose Sentret. It's cute and versatile - it could fight on the ground, in trees, in rocky areas, even on water (it can learn Surf). Sentret is just plain awesome.

    Hmm lets see..

If I lived in Kanto it would be Charmander.
If I lived in Johto it would be Cyndaquil.
If I lived in Hoenn it would be Torchic.
If I lived in Sinnoh it would be Turtwig.

I think i'd find it a lot harder to decide if I actually DID have to pick in real life though. :P

If we're going by Charmageddon's theory, which sounds pretty realistic, I would go for Zigzagoon. Definitely :) If I could pick a Pidgey though then I might reconsider. I like Pidgeot. :)

a charmander for sure, its cute, plus once it evolves to charizard, I get to fly with it =D
