4th Gen Who's beaten the game?

I'm up to Chuck, but due to my stupidity, I didn't get anything that could learn Surf... *heads off to Ruins of Alph to get a Smeargle and heads off to the Pokéwalker to get something that can learn Surf so Smeargle can become my HM slave*

I haven't been able to play this nearly as much as I want because of school... what I have played, though, is fun. Not to mention, when I get up to the Lake of Rage and capture the Red Gyarados, RNG abusing in HG should be so easy.
 
Im pretty close to beating the game currently I have 12 Badges so only 4 more to go + Red :D

SInce Im sick I can play till theres no tommorow :D

Haha Luckily the game release in Canada fell on March Break. :)
So I've had nothing but time!
 
I really wanted to take my time on this one so I could take in the sites on this one. It's better, in my opinion, not to rush things, too, because leveling up your Pokémon in this game is going to be the most important thing you can do (more so than any other Pokémon game). I've got enough Lucky Eggs to give to my Pokémon, so it makes the task slightly easier (especially since I have a Dratini on my team). I'm only up to the Ilex Forest, partly because of what I just explained, and partly because I work full time. meh...I'm enjoying it, though. :D

Lucky... I've had tons of classes. Thankfully, my Theo teacher was out for the past two days giving me about 40 minutes between classes to play, and today's a day off for Saint Patty's Day.

You get Saint Patrick's Day off o0 That's not a statutory Holiday in Canada lol we got to school all dressed in green on Saint Patty's Day.

and yay for NA English & French PokeRelease! I think HGSS is the only NA French release of Pokemon to date; it doesn't look like Pearl came in NA French (France French has weird names, like Chikorita = Germignon. NA French keeps the English names x3)
 
Ive completed it in the jap version (except i havent caught every pokemon)

I dont belive that, you just have played it for like 7 hours a day! Its not THAT easy! Im only allowed to play on my ds 1 hour a day!
 
i spent a good hour playing those mini games. fun stuff.

EDIT: i have not beaten the game lol. taking my sweet time.

Why play through it so quickly? I'd rather just take my time. Pffft, I doubt some of the Japanese people that bought the game have finished it yet. I'll probably take my time.
 
I wish. I can beat all of the elite 4 easily; Lance keeps raping me. Wish I had chosen totodile instead of cyndaquil :/
 
I beat it a while ago. Within the first 24 hours of release.
But that was only Lance, I beat Red later that day.
Now I've gotten a couple Legendarys and I'm on to EV Training my team.
 
Aaaaaah. You guys are funny. I'm still training a bit to take on Whitney.
 
lol thats such a waste to buy this game that had so much hype and beat it in 3 days,im giving atleast another week before i even challenge the E4

honestly, this is how i feel if you ACTUALLY beat the entire game by now.

I mean im sorry if i come off as a bit rash, but there really is no possible way you could have beaten this ENTIRE GAME without 1. trading already leveled up pokes/ Lucky eggs to make it 2x as fast from the sinnoh games and 2. rushing to beat it.

There are 16 gyms+ the Elite 4 + 2 entire regions + Mt. Silver(Red) TOTAL to go through and not only that but there's team rocket at some points PLUS the high encounter rate you get for running in this game. If you actually did without trading just going through the game with what you get, that is a LOAD of hours put into a day to play the game, and that like i said before though, is rushing the game.

I mean to be honest, i only just dealt with TR at goldenrod city yesterday and i thought even I was rushing it a bit cause the game is so good, but beat the game? Sorry, im taking my time and savoring this gem for what it is.

Soo , I won't rush it . Whoa , it's pretty quick to get it beaten in a WEEK after its release ! Pretty fast guys ^_^ .
 
I beat it last night (; all I have to do is beat Red, and then I will have all the major such and such down.

It seems that with these games, you're either going really fast or really slow! Funny how these things tend to happen...
