Who's that Pokemon? (SUPER SPECIAL SUPER UPDATE 5/8/24)

Is it Bug, Psychic or Water type ?

Is it from Gen-III, Gen-IV, Gen-V or Gen-VI ?

Well it's the largest group of the three so...

Is it Water type ?
Answer #3: No, not a Water type.
Is it from Gen-III, Gen-IV, Gen-V or Gen-VI ?
Answer #4: Yes. Introduced this Pokemon in Generation 3, 4, 5, or 6.

Current information:
  • Not bipedal
  • A Bug or Psychic type.
  • From Generation 3, 4, 5, or 6.

Is that Pokemon weak against Ghost Attacks ?

Hmm......

Not weak to ghost attacks means it will be either Bug without Ghost/Psychic or Psychic/Dark or Normal/Psychic. But Malamar has two Legs, whereas Inkay doesn't. Thinking off the Bug Pokemon in those generations, the next related question seems;

Does that Pokemon have any double weakness against particular type?

From Generation 5 or 6.
Not in the order Lepidoptera... which is apparently winged insects like moths and butterflies it seems. Should rule out Volcarona & Vivillon then... could still be larvesta though.

Spoiler:

5 left assuming no mistakes.

Is it Durant ?

Only 2 Bug types in gen-V or gen-VI with three stage evolution; Vivillon and Leavanny. And since former is eliminated, and Leavanny is bipedal, hence it leaves 50% probability to make a correct guess.

Swadloon can be literally related with term Cocoon, hence I am guess other one. Is it Sewaddle ?

Answer #13: Correct. #540, the Sewing Pokemon: Sewaddle. Apparently added a new Pokedex entry (and not just a copy/paste) in Violet.
The bumps on their heads are sensory organs. When Sewaddle meet, they greet each other by rubbing these bumps together.
Talks about making clothing out of leaves in all the other entries.
