4th Gen Whos the hardest/easiest trainer you've had to battle in D/P/PT

Cynthia, definitely. The rest of the Elite Four were hard but straightforward, but she was...argh. I only managed to get one over her Garchomp by having Uxie use Yawn and then switching in Empoleon to use Ice-type moves whilst he was snoozing. Before I had that bright idea, I was being KO-d pretty much constantly by that &^*&(^ing Earthquake of his. :| (And yes, Cynthia was the only reason I even had Uxie in my party. It's pretty...not that good for most other battles. >_<)

I beat everything pretty easily on Plat so Diamond,

Hardest: Cynthia, I actually only lost once and that was due to few potions, revives etc.

Easiest: Some random dude probably, the E4/Rival/Leaders aren't easier than the travellers. ;)

This thread made me realise how crap the trainers are in D/P/Pt.

Elite Four the second time round, particularly Flint. I couldn't do it with my own team, so when i got a Shaymin and my lv.70 Dialga, i though, "this'll do it!", Dialge pwnd Aaron with Fire Blast, Shaymin Seed Flared Bertha to death, but then i got to Flint. Shows how much i struggled when i had to use a lv.85 Froslass to Psychic to death his Infernape.

The hardest I have faced was a unknown trainer early on who had a level 32 Tangela that KO-ed my entire team. I had no problem with any other trainer.

My easiest battle was probably Bertha, the Ground-type user in the Elite Four. I had a Torterra and a Golduck that already would've beat her to a pulp, but the one advantage she had against me (I had a Fire type), was also part Fighting. It wasn't that hard at all. The only hard part I faced was that Hippowdon, who's health was incredibly high.

The hardest, I would have to say was Palmer. I've never beaten him. His team(s) in the Battle Tower are near impossible to beat. If you've sucessfully managed to beat all 49 levels on the Battle Tower I give you a large round of applause.

Cynthia was kinda hard too, but I beat her Garchomp easily with my own Garchomp, and the others were easy. The only one who I hated was Milotic, who my Grass/Ground type couldn't kill since it knew Ice Beam, and I had no Electric types. Eventually I just taught my Alakazam Charge Beam and won. Woopee.

Cynthia was a pain and a half, thanks mostly to Garchomp. It's strong, fast, and has some really wicked moves.

Aaron and Bertha were cake. The Gym Leaders really didn't pose much of a threat either. Rival was a pushover up until when he started hanging out outside the Battleground... then his levels skyrocketed and he became somewhat tougher than before.

My brother? Lol.
Naw. Well I guess the hardest in game Gym leader would have to be...Uhh...
I dunno really. Never really had a hard time with them. ;l
My rival was pretty tough at times though.

The Easiest for me was Flint on Platinum. I has Empoleon. The Hardest would be Volkner. He took three tries, and that maze in his gym is hard O.o

The hardest trainer battle i had in platinum would be Crasher Wake I had a Monferno at the time and he was my highest level poke by the time i got past his Quagsire and Gyrados his Floatzel would take out the rest of my injured team then KO Monferno with Aqua Jet i finally beat him with a littel planning
