Why do we Rom Hack? :3

I hack because:
1) After five playthroughs each, the original games get boring.
2) Mapmaking is fun (especially ice mazes - I LOVE doing those).
3) I can make my fake Pokémon ideas 'real'.
4) I can promote my music by arranging it for a ROM hack.
5) It's a hell of a lot easier than making a game from scratch.
6) The Pokémon Advance games are surprisingly versatile for what little Nintendo exploited those capabilities...
7) IT'S DAMN FUN. <-- Remember that. That's important.

• The official Pokémon games may get boring when you play them a lot.
• I love playing games, but I also like to know that people enjoy playing a game "made" by me.
• You can show your creativity with a hack.
• I don't know what else to do with the PC :)
