Why do you post on forums?

    When I was younger I joined a forum because it was based on a topic that interested me, ever since then I've always used forums to waste the free time in my day. It's nice because when other people are complaining about being stuck at home and having nothing to do I'll always have forums to fall back on if I have nothing else to do. :cool:
     
    To interact with people and talk about things I enjoy like pokemon in general and the anime in particular. Of course I come here when I got free time on my hands as well. Seems like just about any reason I would join any forum.
     
    well, this is the only place where i post on forums, im currently working on a hack, but when i get tired of mapping, scripting etc.. i usually spend time here, theres actually a lot of interesting things to talk about here, (but i never post on all of them). if i had more time, i would spend more time on this forum... thats pretty much why i post on forums.
     
    It depends on the kind of the forum.
    There are forums like PC (discussion) and forums where we're "playing" a character we've created (or not) (RPG), etc...
    I usually post on RPG and discussion forums.
    RPG, because I like writting, and this is a way to escape this world which seems boring sometimes.
    And discussion forums, (in particulary PC), because this is like another home, where I can talk about Pokemon without being treated of a baby, etc...
    Also, it's a way to make friends with people who live far from ourselves.

    For those who do know, I've joined PC quite the long time ago, without really a specific reason why other than just to talk about Pokemon, I suppose. I wanted to meet new people on the internet, and talk about Pokemon with them and stuff. Nowadays though, because I usually have some free time(especially on weekends) I've nothing to do really but to come on PC and talk with my friends. I've established many close bonds here with so many people here that leaving or even taking a break from this place is usually easier said than done.

    I've joined a previous forum before PC, but I don't know why I joined that one. The memories of that forum are incredibly foggy...
     
    To have fun talking to people. I do find forums more entertaining because they allow you to meet new people with similar interests, allowing you to increase your friends group.

    Plus some crazy threads are incredibly fun P:
     
    It gives me something to do when I'm really bored, and proves to be a wonderful distraction for when I should be doing homework or studying. :D

    Plus, it's a great place to meet people. The vaaaaast majority of the those who have added my MSN handle are from here... and a few people even have my phone number at this point. XD It's a pretty safe bet you're gonna find awesome friends at a place where you just might share a common interest. :P
     
    It's because I love to interact with people, I love to communicate, I love to make friends, and most of all I love to be part of that community.

    Although I'm trying to change it...I come on here out of boredom - once I've ran out of places to post on here, I actually do homework.
     
    I like to post my opinions on certain things and see what others have to say on the subject. Also, I do it to get to know people :P
     
    There's always something new on a forum and that keeps it interesting. It's a growing, evolving thing and I can be a part of it. That sounds cheesy, but it's the kind of thing I like most in my hobbies: the ability to actively interact and affect thing.

    Plus, ya know, the people.
     
    Bordom and topical discussion.
    I joined here because it was about Pokemon, but now I stay for the overall forum and some members.​

    I am on forums because I like to talk to you guys about different stuff.
     
    To have healthy discussions, get my opinions across, and I get to make new friends too! :)
     
    I post on PC to learn new things, make new friends, discuss and speculate on ideas, anddd well, the highlight of my posting on PC is actually when I can help people - basically anything in cq&f, etc are my favourite places to post in because I just like helping out people. XD;

    And I post in B/W cause it's amazingly awesome. :3
     
    Last time, when I first joined, I post on PC to interact with other people that has the same hobbies as me (ie; Pokemon). But now, I only post in PC because I just have too much time on my hands.
