    Very appealing title thread, don't ya think?

    Anyways, the topic is about the good old cartoons that we used to watch back when we were kids. Shows that fall in this category, are The Flinstones, Tom and Jerry, The Jetsons, Tweety (forgot its name), that racing thing with the guy with the long mustache and Mutlee..and so forth.

    Does anybody here still watch them? I doubt that, but do you like to watch them someday and what is your favorite old cartoon?
     
    I dont watch them anymore but whacky racers and roadrunner were among my old favourats :)
     
    I have a TV channel called Boomerang and they still run those old shows, and I often watch them, really. My favorites would be The Flinstones and Roadrunner.

    I really love the old Scooby Doo. What's New Scooby Doo and all those really old ones. <3 They still make new Scooby Doo episodes and I love those too, but the old ones are my favourite.
     
    Good timing for this thread actually, because I was up last night, and I watched loony tunes! I think its my favourite program EVERRRRR xD
     
    I loved Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes. Whenever I get the chance, I watch those, but I see the former more often than the latter.

    Oh, yes. Who can forget them? I think they still run the show on CN, yes?

    I also can mention Scooby Doo, the first releases, not the new ones. I have DVD sets and movies of the show and I watched some episodes today when I saw this thread. It is very nostalgic.

    Hell yes. I loved watching the Eds' futile attempts to get money in order to buy jawbreakers.

    Also, does anyone remember Cow and Chicken as well as Dexter's Laboratory? Those were rather good shows as well.
     
    Well I watched Captain Planet when I was a kid......

    But yeah, If I had to list them:

    Tom and Jerry (I liked the one where Jerry opened the freezer and left the faucet running......)
    Ed, Edd, and Eddy
    Looney Tunes
    Freakazoid (Wait was that a show or part of some other show?)
    Dexter's Lab (Of course :P)
    The Jetson's (I don't remember much from that one)
    Johny Bravo
    The Animaniacs

    That's all I can remember, besides those Hannah Barbera ones which I can't specifically remember the names.

    Best show on Cartoon Network. Does anyone actually like Eddie? Everyone I've asked agrees he's a jerk.
    I liked Dexter's Lab aswell; I didn't get Cartoon Network on my TV though so I rarely got a chance to watch those shows.

    A lot of cartoons I only actually watched because I hated them and wanted to rant about something, me and my brother would always watch shows so we could just mock it. Cow & Chicken was one of them, lol. That was the most enjoyable part of watching TV, making fun of it.

    Cartoons I actually did enjoy: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Spider Man, Digimon (gonna get hate for this on a Pokemon forum, lol), CARDAAAAAAAPTORS, I can't remember any others.
     
    Yea, Eddy is kind of a jerk, but the show is more entertaining with him in it. See it this way. Eddy is the manipulative, scheming type, Edd is the brains and the reason for Eddy, and Ed is the surprisingly strong, idiot type. Those character differences are what make the show enjoyable and humorous. All of them are unique in their own way, though I prefer Ed, for he can lift a house.

    But my favorite old cartoons would have to be The Flinstones and Yogi Bear.
     
    I used to watch a lot of old Pokemon every Saturday morning on Cartoon Network with my brother, when it was good and old school and everything.

    I believe Ed Ed and Eddy, Dexter, Powerpuff Girls, Codename Kids Next Door and Johnny Bravo were my favorites as well. But Pokemon and Dexter's Laboratory were the one's I used to get up for. :D
