Woops wrong bathroom

I don't recall actually ever fully walking into the wrong bathroom.

Although I'm pretty sure there's been a few times where I wasn't quite paying attention and almost walked into one, though (like the one time in high school where I was hurrying to class and almost walked into the wrong bathroom in my rush whoops). Thankfully I either caught myself or someone else caught me before I managed to go in.
 
Only once that I can remember. Sister and I accidentally went into a men's bathroom in McDonalds on a road trip. We went straight out once we saw the urinals, haha. No harm done.

As scatterbrained as I am, I'm surprised I haven't done bathroom mixups more often.
 
Noope, never. Did not as a child, and definitely not as an adult.

Wonder what things would cross my mind at that time if I did? Embarrassment, panic, a feeling of awkwardness and amusement would probably be the ones that come first. XD

I was going to say, never mind walking into the wrong bathroom as a kid, I did it just last week. I was in a new area and I swear the signs for the male and female toilets were just nonexistent. I ended up in the female bathroom and the only reason I realised was because of the lack of wall urinals.
 
No, but sometimes when I cosplay people think I'm walking into the wrong bathroom :P On more than one occasion people have told me "Girl's room is over there" before I answer in my regular voice that I'm actually a guy. Guess my cosplays are that convincing lol

Well, there was that one shady gas station with a note on the men's room door: "OUT OF ORDER PLEASE USE WOMEN'S RESTROOM." Fortunately this was one of those places with only one toilet where you locked the door after going in, so there wasn't going to be anyone walking in on me. It was horribly filthy but sometimes when you gotta go, you just gotta go...
 
I had something similar happen, but I walked into the wrong apartment. My mom moved to the apartment that was literally directly below her old one, and I forgot and walked in and the lady in there looked confused as anything. I was all like "ooh sorry" and quickly got out.
 
Last time I remember walking into the wrong restroom was in High School. Mainly because I was so used to the girl's bathroom being on one side in the hallway that I took the usual turn to get it but turns out that, either because the hallway was different or I was coming down from the other end, it was actually the Male's bathroom. Thankfully no males were actually in there at the time.

I've done this as an adult!

In Outback, Blokes and Sheilas, luckily my theory was right!

But some places aren't too clear, and I'm just like, IS THIS UNISEX?

I walked in, saw all of these girls.
They looked at me, like, "What the hell are you doing here?"
I looked at them like, "Oh, I'm not supposed to be here?"
 
I was in like 5th grade or something and I was at Walmart with my mom. I had this rubber ball thing that had popped and I had it over my head because I'm weird and I wasn't really paying attention. I walked into the bathroom, went into a stall, made my pees and poops, then when I came out there was just a group of teenage girls looking into the mirror doing makeup and making faces at themselves and I just kinda awkwardly left because that was the first time that had ever happened.
 
Every time I find out the soap dispenser at the boys' bathroom has run dry. Which is sadly more often than I'd hope. Like seriously, is it so hard to refill it? Do girls not use soap to wash their hands? Or are we expected not to wash our hands so they only refill the girls'?
 
I never accidentally walked into one, but when I was a child I saw a bunch of people go into a bathroom and followed them and tried to use their toilet. A teacher came running in after me and took me out. I must've been maybe 5 or 6.
