    *Typo in title was indeed intentional.

    What are words that you find hard to spell? That no matter how much you type and use them, you always end up misspelling them? What tricks do you use to remember these words?

    I used to have a hard time spelling "conscience" and "conscious" but I just thought of "con" and "science" and viola, my word is spelled! Another word sort of in this category is "vicious." It has that same ending, and for some reason I always felt compelled to put an S.

    Of course, the word that ALWAYS gets me is necessary. I had to erase that like five times before I finally got it correct >.<

    I would've typed mispell instead of misspell actually. D:

    Other words... Unneeded, I would type it: uneeded.

    As for conscience, conscious, and cautious, I'm gonna need to use a dictionary. :x

    My common misspellings are knife/knives, definitely, and embarrassing. I don't know why, but I never get them right and even just now I had to check them before posting!

    The two words I always get wrong are necessary and unfortunately. I get them right now days because I used them a lot in my essays xD. Though there was another word I'd always get wrong can't remember what it is at the moment -.-

    Is and Es always mix me up as well. I can't type silhouette without some kind of spell check. It really bugs me when people confuse definitely and defiantly, as well. So common, and yet so wrong! >:O

    This is how I always spell certain words:
    definately --> I then use spell check: definitely.
    Unfortunatley --> Unfortunately.
    Lisense --> License

    They are the two words that I always spell incorrectly... My spelling when I write is pretty horrible though without any red squiggly line underneath.

    Words that have 2 or 3 sets of double letters, and words that exchange s and c randomly throughout them.

    Except for necessary. I finally got that one down. lol

    I've got a good vocabulary and know how to spell basic words all the time. The only word that shoots me in the foot is elbiem - emblem.

    I have so much trouble with "occasionally." I keep writing it as "ocassionally" and sometimes as "occassionally" and every time I think: "Wait, no, I always get this wrong. I should write it the other way" and end up writing it wrong because I had it right the first time. And I did spell it wrong the first time when typing this. :<

    I can spell most words fine, but "definitely" and "apparently" usually catch me out. And, lately, I've been typing "jsut" every single time I try to type "just", and I don't know why.

    Words with "i" and "e" together always get me :[ and then spell check always switches the two, bahaha.

    Also, I used to always spell, "grammar" as "grammer". Luckily, I know not to make that mistake now.

    This.

    Well, that and the derivative 'ocassion'. I always forget that it has two 'C's for some freaky-ass reason. Most other normally-used words I'm fine with, for the most part.

    Believe. It's just that word for some reason, I sometimes spell it correctly, but for the most part I always misspell it. :/
