    Welcome!
Website of the Month is a contest where, each month, we get to nominate and vote for new websites depending on a particular theme, and choose a winner. Winner would then go on to be featured in our forum-splash. Without further ado, let's get straight to business!
    Guidelines
Every month, we'll be having a set theme. All websites that you nominate must range within it, or else, they would not make it to voting round.
    • You're allowed to nominate your own website, but it's recommended not to, as it could be seen as advertising to some people.
    • Whenever a website wins, they would be added to Hall of Fame list for said year. Once they're there, they cannot be nominated again until next year.
    • All websites that you nominate must be appropriate; if they are not, they will not be counted.
    • Theme for this month is video games, so all websites that you place here must fit that.
    • You'll be getting an emblem for participation, and if one of your nominations wind up winning, you'll get an additional one.
    • Nominations would last for about 14 days; to nominate, just fill out the form below and post a reply!
    • You may nominate only three websites per month.
    Hall of Fame
Currently not available; please check back next month.
    Nomination
Website name: This is where the website's name should go.
Website link: Website's address goes here.
Description: This is optional, but if you like, you may give us a brief description of it.

    Website Name: GameSpot
    Website Link: https://www.gamespot.com/
Description: GameSpot, while it was a great source for video games, really amped up their site when 2014 came around, giving the users quite a surprise with a slick new website design. Now, it is quite easy to find articles, reviews, and news worthy of reading towards your favorite games; a must-see for any avid video gamer.

Yo Zach, you can't say I've never posted in your section anymore boom *confetti flies*

    Website name: GameFAQs
    Website link: https://www.gamefaqs.com/
Description: This is a paradise for all video gamers around, in fact, this site have database of all of the games available, it also have the info about the release date of every game, and the best part? You can find Walkthrough guide in almost every game to help you win in the game that you have! This is a must-have for both the game completionist and casual gamers around.

    Website Name: steam
    Website Link: store.steampowered.com/
Description: Steam is a site that doesn't need an introduction for any true gamer. Steam has been online since 2003 for our pc's and recently started launching the software for various consoles and OS's.

It says in the description that this competition is for new websites, yet the examples (and everything nominated so far) have been around at least several years? Anyway, I'm going to honour the description and post up a newly created site.

Website name: Happy 25th Birthday Game Boy
    Website link: https://ihatetomatoes.net/happy-25th-birthday-game-boy/
Description: While not overly chocked full of content, this site is a really good portfolio piece. As it presents an aesthetic experiment, it both embodies decent social media elements, artistic work, and general design strength from the designer in question. A simple, yet lovely tribute to Game Boy and its 25th birthday success.

Oh, I have a definite favorite. There's tons of site giving reviews, FAQs, lists and whatnot. But this...

Website name: I actually think it's called "GOG.com" simply. Used to be called "Good Old Games".
    Website link: https://www.gog.com/
Description: Remember those good old games you used to play in the 90's? Or the 80's even? Or even the 00's. Those who can't really be found in regular stores anymore, not even online. Well, you will find those games here. A site selling downloads of your old gems so that you can relive them (or try for the first time!) in present day, because the files are all prepared and ready to be installed on your modern system. Another good thing - the games are cheap as they are, but there are often themed sales going on!

Heh, this totally sounds like an advert for gog xD Also Gav, I don't think she meant that the websites have to be new, just that we vote for new kinds of websites each month.

    Website name: PSN Profiles
    Website link: https://psnprofiles.com
Description: Basically another place where you can actively keep track of any achieved trophies on PlayStation consoles/handhelds, and also find people to play with! :D

    Website name: DualShockers
    Website link: https://dualshockers.com
Description: A gaming news website that offers reviews, upcoming releases, etc., similar to any other kind of video game website.

    Website name: Siliconera
    Website link: https://siliconera.com
Description: Website with newest info about soon-to-be released games and other important content

I can't read your post with the Johto elite layout. :(
    Anyways....
Website name: The Cave Of Dragonflies
    Website link: https://www.dragonflycave.com/
Description: A wonderful website filled with polls, quizzes, fan fics, and plenty of other stuff centered around Pokemon. Granted this website isn't updated all that much, but it s enough to be considered active. So basically a Pokemon fan-site.

Here is the one I am nominating

    Website Name: Xbox Achievements
    Website Link: https://www.xboxachievements.com/
Description: A website to keep track of any achievements gotten on Microsoft's consoles, the Xbox series. You can also find other Xbox gamers to play with, along with guides, reviews, previews, videos, and news.

Do Wikis count? Because I have one (many, actually, but one to nominate) that I love.

Website name: The Unofficial Ultimate Elder Scrolls Pages
    Website link: https://uesp.net/wiki/Main_Page
Description: I just love this site, and it's one of the "gaming" sites that I visit most often, especially when I first bought Skyrim. It's helpful for all aspects of The Elder Scrolls games, including quests, marriage, skills, and pretty much everything else. I also love to read up on all of the lore, which allows me to learn things from games that I haven't had the chance to play, or realize things that I never noticed while playing, and it lets me connect and enjoy the lore of The Elder Scrolls so much more.

You forgot the most important feature of all. All games, both old and new (yes, it has modern games as well) are completely DRM-free.

    Clearly the best website ever!
    Website Name: The Pokecommunity Forums
    Website URL: https://www.pokecommunity.com/
Description: The best website ever, it is where pokemon players can hang out, talk, trade, battle each others. It is a safe and fun site, the moderators are brilliant and they often join in on conversation. This website is clearly going to be the winner

    Website name: IGN
    Website link: www.ign.com
Description: It gives all the great reviews, guides, hacks, cheats, whatever you need.
