Would you be angry if somebody you didn't know made your birthday thread?

If someone were to make me a birthday thread, I'd be enthralled either way.
It's a win-win, really. If someone you know makes it, then it's special to you, if someone you don't know makes it, then you're obviously well-known
and revered on PC.
 
I've never had a birthday thread. :(

It'd be nice to get one, even if I didn't really know the person.

I don't see why people feel the need to make the thread if they don't know you. Is it like a suck-up device towards the staff members and moderators ands stuff? Sure you could post in that person's thread if you don't know them, but making it is weird.

As you can probably tell, I'd definitely want my friend making it. Although it doesn't have to be my closest friend or whatever, but one of like 5 or 6 people who has had decent sized conversations with me and who I know on first name basis and stuff.

This. Though, if it were me, I'd probably just be surprised. Then maybe get angry, and be pleased. I mean, I'm thankful that you made me a thread but... I don't know you. That's just plain creepy.
 
Let's put it like this.....Let's not talk about it if someone posted my birthday and I didn't know.
 
I would be thankful as hell, considering mine has passed by already. And I've been on PC since December, so yeah as you could imagine I was quite pissed. No one even said a damn happy B-day or hey dawg, not to mention in real life no one knows my B-day, making me a very lonely person that day. In fact, I hate it when my birthday comes around, since no one remembers it.

So the qnswer to your question is no, I wouldn't be bothered in anyway. Even if it was a complete stranger at least they're showing consideration unlike everyone else I knew and loved.
