    Do you like xerneas or yveltal better out of the 2 X and Y mascots? I like Xerneas because she is the pokemon of life. Xerneas is also my #1 favorite pokemon!
     
    I could tell that you like Xerneas...
    Anyway, I prefer him also. I haven't caught either of the Pokémon, so I don't know what their battle skills are like, but Xerneas looks cooler.
     
    despite the type disadvantage, i have an yvetel that kills any xerneas in 2 hits.

    On the other hand, Xerneas is the best looking fairy and the strongest fairy. Also, type advantage over both counterparts.

    So i like them both.
     
    Xerneas' typing and design appeal to me so much more than Yveltal. However I have to say they are my favourite version mascots since Kyogre & Groudon
     
    I prefer Xerneas, because Geomancy, Power Herb and Moonblast is an unholy combination in competitive battling. I also like the Fairy typing Xerneas gets over Yveltal's Dark/Flying, I personally think Honchkrow does a much better job as a Dark/Flying type than Yveltal, which knocks it down a little.

    On top of that Yveltal's stat arrangement's just weird to me. I personally think that HP stat fits Xerneas a lot more.
     
    I'm actually pretty split between the two of them, so I'll have to give them a draw. I originally bought Pokemon Y because I preferred Yveltal to Xerneas, though the latter has definitely grown on me since I first saw it. I still don't know if I like its design quite as much as Yveltal's, but its typing and moveset definitely make up for that.
     
    I like Xerneas better of the two, it's got better typing and its signature move Geomancy has a cool animation. I just had to choose X as my main version over Y purely for this reason.
     
    I vote for Xerneas, purely because the design is much better than Yveltal's. Also because it's the first legendary to represent the new Fairy type. Plus, I really like the move Geomancy XD
     
    Xerneas is epic in a way that appeals to me much more than the darkly looking Yveltal. It's elegant rather than brutal, even though I admit Yveltal is pretty cool as well. I think mainly it reminds me of this:

    I'm surprised Xerneas is winning - I honestly thought Yveltal was the more loved :)


    Anyways I'm not gonna help matters haha cause I prefer Xerneas too - one of the reasons I picked X and I actually kept him on my team for a while, something I haven't done with a legendary in a long time :)
     
    I prefer Yveltal, due to its resemblance to Lugia. Plus, its black and red color scheme go along with its body structure pretty nice; looks very natural, if you ask me. :] Xerneas is okay, and I just love its creative design, but this definitely isn't the first deer Pokémon, though. Deer are cute, but... they're just not as awesome as beastly birds like Lugia and Yveltal, haha.
     
    I don't really care for either of them, in that they barely stand out to me at all, but I prefer Xerneas. It was the legendary in X, too, so it's the only one I actually own.

    ...and this is exactly my other reason. I love that it reminds me of one of my favourite movies. 8)
     
    I like Yveltal better than Xerneas, although both are amazing. They both fit so smoothly with each other, and that's a great feeling. :)
     
    Yveltal. Imposes much more of a fierce, powerful energy, and the coloring of its body is perfect, in my opinion. I've seen so much fan art of it in many different forms; menacing, or even cute, and they all appeal to me more than Xerneas. Nothing against the fairy; I prefer it over a heap of other legendaries. In this bout, though, Y's mascot wins.
     
    I chose Yveltal, because I like the design more. :) Judging based on design, since I've never used those before, and I plan to get both versions, so I'm not too keen on my answer yet, haha. :d
