[Spoilers] XY Capture/Evolution/Release Thread

I would just like for Ash and Serena to get something together that is similar. It would be nice for them to get something like Gallade and Gardevoir. I would also love for Serena to get a Snorunt and it evolve into a Froslass which I think would go great with performances.

This would also play of her other pokemon. All she needs is a ghost and dark and I would be thrilled. I could easily see Greninja helping Pancham evolve, but I just don't know if that would happen, even though I really love the idea. Even more unlikely now that Eevee evolves.

I am holding out for Ash and Serena to both get an Ice type in the coming Snowy episodes. I will say, that I think Ash will lose to the 8th gym his first try. Especially if Serena takes a small break similar to Clemont.

I agree a lot with that! I could really see Ash catching a Bergmite (most likely evolving it shortly thereafter, around the 8th gym). Haven't seen him catch an ice type since Hoenn and Snorunt and i think he's due for another one. Show them ice types some love! Haha

Quite honestly, I don't know if Ash will catch a fairy type Pokemon. Though it would make a lot of sense for advertising reasons and for some battle reasons, I just don't think so. With Serena's eevee most likely evolving, or already evolved, into a Sylveon (correct me if I'm wrong), I feel that that is more than enough reason not to have a fairy type.

Also food for thought, no real reason behind this idea, just something I think would be cool, Ash could do very well with a Honedge as well, I think. It would be a very interesting Pokemon for Ash to have with its great typing and I feel would be a Pokemon that'd fit into Ash's style of battling.

Yeah I would really be happy with him getting a Honedge as well. Honestly, I would love for Ash to catch more than 6. He might catch another if there is a filler arc. Honedge and Bergmite have yet to make an appearance in the anime. Honedge would be a great counter for the 8th gym. Not to mention Honedge is a unique typing and Ash doesn't have any ghost or steel type pokemon. I just hope it is one of the two. Although, I wouldn't put it pass them to throw us another curve ball like they did with Goodra and Noibat. I just hope for the love of Arceus that it isn't a Binacle.... They are away from water now, so I don't think that will happen thank god.

I'm pretty sure Honedge debuted in an episode with a Pokemon Showcase in it, because one of the contestants was using one. But yes, still no Bergmite appearance yet.

Must not have noticed that. Probably true but I think it deserves more screen time. It's a great Pokemon and with its typing being so unique would make for a good capture episode or even just a normal episode where it gets focused on for whatever reason.

P.S. I'm just slightly biased towards Honedge ;) {XD}

Yep she is right. It was in a showcase episode, but didn't have a massive part I don't think. But I do still think it would be another nice Halloweenish episode if not a capture episode.

Episode name is "Episode 913: Zapdos and Noivern! A Furious Strike of Lightning!!"

Looks like Noibat will fight Zapdos and evolve. Which makes me wonder, were is Articuno and who will evolve against it? Possibly someone elses pokemon?

Ahhh , I really wanted Noibat to meet Alexa's Noivern .
Doesn't anyone interested to see a baby Noibat interacting with an adult Noivern for the first time?
Specially since Noibat haven't seen anyone from its own kind.

I don't see a Hawlucha evo unless a new generation gives us one. But man, I'm so disappointed they're making Noibat evolve in a similar manner to Fletchinder's evolution into Talonflame... fighting a Kanto legendary bird. I can't imagine it happening a third time with Articuno since Ash has no other evolution-capable Pokemon.

Ash doesn't have any Ghost-types after the Kanto arc's Haunter. Phantump should be good enough. (:

I believe the Kalos saga would mark the latest team completion, he's already drawing near to Wulfric's Gym... To be precise, he hasn't make a team in the X&Y series and he might be making a team of six in XY&Z eventually...

I don't think Ash will become a king. The only way I can see this happen if they have a play on words, Serena becomes Kalos Queen and Ash and Serena get together. However, that is not for this thread. I just wanted to explain it a bit.

So Sawyer does get a Honedge, however, that still doesn't totally rule out that they can't at some point trade or something. He has traded before, but hasn't traded in a while.

It also isn't uncommon for others to get pokemon Ash has or eventually catches.

Still hoping for Ash and Serena to share a pokemon line like Ralts or something.

I can understand all of the Kanto pokemon for the 20th Ann. Mega Lucario is probably one of the most popular Megas and the most used in the anime and games. Two pokemon however I do not understand, Latios and Espeon. Latios I guess could be friends with Steven. But Espeon is completely random to me compared to the others. Not to mention I thought Umbreon was the most popular in Johto.

Do you think someone else will catch an Espeon in the anime?
