Has anyone else noticed that this game feels longer once you've played it a lot?

I actually think that it feels quicker. Like after I got to 2000 I started getting to 1000 almost every time even though before that I got 1000 like once every five tries. And then getting to 3000 getting to the upper 1000's was quicker and easier.

Wow... could I have just sneaked in for third?

I used to be 3x better than this at school as my best was around the 8000-9000 mark.

Played it for the first time in a few days. I kept getting in the 1000s ten I finnaly had a really good run. Apparently Flash games work better for me on Firefox.
