I had the idea to start a thread like the Pokémon related one in Trivia section, but for any book, film, game you like!
Here are some examples :

You have watched Fantasia too much if you look at a broom and start wiggling your fingers towards it to try and animate it!

You have played Fallout too much when you tell a friend that another friend needs help with something and that you will mark it on their map!

Let's start with :

You have read too much Sherlock Holmes when you start every explanation you give with "Elementary, my dear..."!

You know you've played too much Star Fox 64 when every time you watch someone flip over you yell "Try a somersault!".

You've read too much Pratchet when the term "Trojan Horse" makes you think of two armies trying to outsmart each other with lots of big wooden horses with soldiers inside on both sides, thinking "if they're stupid enough to think we would fall for that trick then they're also stupid enough to fall for it themselves!".
