3rd Gen Your Father is a Gym Leader

In the Hoenn games, your father is the Gym Leader of Petalburg City. Norman is the only father of the player character we've ever seen.

What did you think of Norman? I liked his role more in OR/AS than I did R/S/E.

I actually liked how we knew our father in the Hoenn games, it made it even cooler that he was a gym leader and was a decent challenge for the player to overcome halfway through the game. He also had a pretty unique gym gimmick with the different rooms etc, so all around I'd say Game Freak did a decent job with his character!

Norman is my favorite gym battle because he utilizes Slaking. I believe he's the only gym leader in the series who does.

I love that he ain't a pushover either. Your old man actually packs a whallop and a good bit of strategy too, even if it's scummy af (god damn that Spinda).
