Your most valuable possession

So many things I could steal...
Just kidding, for me, it would have to be my mom's massive collection of books. Whenever I get bored, I can usually find a book that interests me, and it'll keep me occupied for most of the day.

I don't really have one particular valuable possession, but I do keep a drawer full of little trinkets that hold sentimental value in one form or another. Looking through it right now, I have:
  • A few college acceptance letters. None of which from the one I go to, I just realized
  • A birthday card from my family
  • 3 playbills, two of which were from my HS SING! performances, the last being a one from a play I was in. Definitely one of the highlights of high school
  • Prom invitation letter. One of the best nights of my life.
  • Two random pieces of clothing that actually mean a lot to me. They were from the costume designing for the aforementioned play I was in. Me and this other girl worked day and night getting them done. Things didn't end well between us, but I still hold onto the scraps.
  • An advert for my friend's instructor's gymnastics course. I got it on the last day I saw my friend before she goes to Miami. I was actually supposed to enroll in it.
  • A broken test tube. From my Filmmaking Days in high school. Holds a good chunk of memories.
  • A letter from my friends in my old neighborhood, along with a picture of the whole gang
  • An old ice skating bracket ticket thingy. One of the "be together before college" things.
  • a mixed CD. Hehe.
  • a DSLR lens cover. Oh god. This one's a doosey, it was from the month long race to finding a lens for my friend's camera before she found out I broke the original.
  • 5 notes from friends. Well, 4. The last one was a nice prank from them. :3
  • 2 movie stubs. I can't really read them, but I think they were from Iron Man 3 and The Purge.

I also have a few things on the top of my closet that are too big to fit in my drawer. Specifically:

  • A box designed to look like a robot head. Also from my film making days, that was pretty fun.
  • A cheap guitar amp that broke on the first day I got it.
  • A baseball mitt. While I did play a little, I'd gotten that 4 years ago simply to impress someone. I keep it to remind myself of how silly/stupid I was. =P
  • A poster made from the little brother of my friend. I'd given him my Pokemon White for free since I'd broken my DS and it was his birthday the next day. He drew a hug poster with Zekrom and a few other Pokemon. Also gave me a nice note.

I also have one other thing, a CD. Specifically Anberlin's Lost Song album. It was given as a birthday present from the same friend whose brother got my game. I was literally speechless when I'd gotten it.

Oh man, the amount of nostalgia this gave me is ridiculous. But I liked it. =)

The saxophone my uncle gave me for my birthday a few years ago.

My Pokemon games, without them I won't be able to post as much here as I am doing now. Pokemon is a franchise special to me and to have it robbed would be disaster.

Also, my range of celebrity perfumes. I've got ones like Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears and Harajuku Lovers range by Gwen Stefani. And there's also that one by Mariah Carey with the butterfly lid. A girl's gotta smell her best so losing my beloved perfumes would make me cringe.

I sorta have two. My stuff animal I got from my grandpa and grandma on my dad's side. named puffy and it was a bunny. :P I loved him a lot and still have it. When I was sad or alone I hugged it to feel safe. Then my grandmas wedding ring.(on my dad's side) She gave it to me to use or keep. I will always love it and maybe use it somehow in my own wedding. ^.^

I have a lot of possessions that could be considered valuable to me, but the one I am most fond of would be is the bond between my parents. They still love me and each other, and I love them both back that I would be truly heartbroken if something broke that bond.

I have a lot of them. My most favorite at the moment has to be my Ruki sticker. My sensei gave it to me for birthday when he wasn't supposed to at Saboten in 2010. It's considered my lucky sticker. ^_^

I had to physically look around my house to try and find something that I might consider my most valuable possession, but I just couldn't. At the end of the day, if anything were to happen to everything I own, you bet I'd be upset over losing electronics, books, clothes, heirlooms, etc. But as cheesy as it may sound though, I care much more about my family over any sort of physical possession that I own.

I have a half-filled manuscript book of every piece of music I've ever written. Anything from a short 4 bar melody or chord progression to my mostly finished sonata that I've taken an extended break from writing.
My grandmother was a pianist and when she found out I wanted to get into music she bought me this and a guitar to get started. I'm so glad she did.
All of my work is in their, it's worth more to me than anything bought.
