4th Gen Your name/Rival's name

I just named mine ヒカリ(Hikari) because I couldnt be bothered playing as the guy and I named my rival.... well I cant remember right now so I'll check later.
 
I'll probably name the real trainer after myself and then my rival after my real life rival. Lets call him 'Clyde'.

I would name myself...well....myself, and name my rival muffin, cus its just funny when you bump into muffin, and challenges you. Muffin wants to battle! [note:] my dog being named muffin has nothing to do with this decision <.< >.>
 
I usually name myself after one of my cats (Alumi or Tarea), and my rival after some person I hate.
 
Me: Furariki On Accident (In Katakana)
Rival: Cartman (In Katakana)
 
I will name myself Conman cause I try to use that for all my games and online purposes. I will most likely name my rival Pmasta or Paradox cause those are the names my cousin uses for stuff.

I just started a new game and named my rival: LOLz0rX, lol every time he says something or someone mentions them its just...lol

Now seriously, I'm going to change what i'm gonna name my D/P characters:
My name: My real name
Rivals name: Brendan or Travis :s

Rival's name: Riku

My Name: Tyler (Real Name)

Rival Name: Dessier (Rival in all pokemon gamesince he's my friend in real life and rival when it comes to pokemon)
 
If I ever got any of the D/P series, I'd probably name myself either Nicolas or Terrence or something like that, since I like dignified sounding names, and my rival will either be named Justin, William, or Jenny depending on who I get to play as my rival.

I thought there were only five spaces to type names in... o_o

Anyway, I named my rival Jan (for no particular reason).
I named myself Zonic even though I wanted to use my real name (I just used my username, because I want people to know who I am in Wi-fi battles).

Using Roman letters is always a good idea in a Japanese game if you don't know hardly any Japanese (I hate trying to read kana). Thank goodness they have the roman letters...
 
Pierre for the main character's name ftw! =D French looking main characters = pwnage. >O Just imagine encountering a trainer named Pierre in the Battle Tower. o.o I bet it'll leave alot of people ROFLing for a couple of minutes. =P

I might also consider naming myself Smarty so some people here might know it's me, but because my online name has been Smarties-kun for quite a while now, I don't think it'll work as only a couple of people remember me as Smarty_Arty. ._. However, if they increase the maximum character limit for the main character's name in D/P, I might name myself Smarties so some people might recognize me if they end up battling me. Pierre, however, is schmexful so I'll probably end up using that.

As for the rivals name: I have absolutely no idea what I'll name him, (the rival is the freaky Wally wannabe with the blonde hair, right?) but it'll probably be something completely random.
