    Personally,
    Yes I do it. But thats only because I dont have the funds to buy CDs , and alot of the music I want isent avalible anymore.
    I reallise i can buy music on places like Itunes and CokeMusic but I really dont have the money.

    What do you guys think of it?

    Does it hurt their profit? HELL YEAH! Tch, piracy is tha cause of 5% of economic losses in tha world.

    Do I do it? Yep.

    Alot? Nope... tch, usually less than 10 songs an year, but I download ALOT of anime/game OSTs.

    My view? It causes harm, yes. Tch, but it ain't much of a loss for them I guess, so I'll just stick ta it. ^^;;

    I hardly download anything. But it's mostly stuff that I wouldn't ever buy anyway, so where's the loss?

    i download stuff all the time i c no harm in it as long as there not protected XD

    I download stuff all the time! ROMs, MP3s, Movies, Programs, serial numbers, ect.! Do I feel bad about it? A little...Will I stop sweeties? When I get busted. XD
    I say it's okie, unless YOU download it, burn it, and sell it for money. Now that's wrong, sweeties.

    Umm...I download a good bit of stuff. Mostly music, but some live videos that aren't for sale anyway. I buy albums from most of the bands that I really dig and I want to be successful. Then I support them again when I go to their shows. The way I see it, they are all millionaires anyway, so whats the harm? :P

    Eh, I like to feed musicians =P But when I download music illegally, its only a few songs to see if I like it. If I do, well, I'll buy the album! XD;

    I'm not afraid to admit, I download all kinds of illegal crap online. Mostly mp3's and ROMS. I only really buy CD's if there's a song on the CD that I can't find an mp3 of. I know it's wrong, I do tend to feel guilty sometimes, but I don't stop doing it. Because I'm selfish and I know that there's very little chance that I'll get caught. (I'm also poor XD.)

    However, burning music onto a CD and selling it to people is basically making money off of someone elses' work, and that's where I draw the line.

    ...I feel like being upfront and honest today o.O

    I will never do that.. It's so wrong..

    I dont do it anymore, but I take pride in knowing I hurt the record industry.

    Only occasionally. Anime, movies and stuff too. I really don't feel bad, but I don't do it very often.

    I don't illegally copy music. I used to copy roms, but I don't anymore. I know one of the main reasons people copy c.ds is because they cost so **** much!!!
    I mean, $40 for a single track c.d.
    How money-mad can you get?
    although it's not the artist's fault...
    there's stuff like advos, tabsnots, and b.n.Js.
    Okay, those don't really mean anything, but I'm giving you examples.

    Urm...I've done it a couple of times, then stopped. I dont have a realistic opinion about piracy yet, but I do guess it's wrong...But considering how much you would pay for cds, dvds and stuff, it's always the easy choice. I mean, all of my friends choose to do it.

    I've done it myself twice, and recieved countless songs from file transfers from friends. I do know it's not the best decision you could make... But it's not a huge deal. Like Jeremy said, it's only really bad if you make profit off of these songs. xP It would be better for the companies if you just went out and bought the songs, but I know some people don't have that kind of money, or just don't have access to it. +shrug+ What can you do?

    I've only done it the odd time, but I don't always do it, there isn't really much need, but my sister has thousands of illegal music on her laptop!

    I only download ROMs. The only songs I download are Pokemon ones... >>

    Although I do want a copy of "Entertaining Angels" by Newsboys.
