YOU'RE OLD!

I've always thought that you know you're young when you wish you were older... and you're old when you wish you were younger.

Oh, so I am old. :p I don't really care most of the time, though.

Perhaps it's just the fear of trying to figure out what job I want, which I thought made me young. Eh.

Then again, I do feel nostalgic for those days where I used to sprite...

I realized a while ago that I was getting older when I thought, "wow, I'm almost 18, I'm gonna be a legal adult!"

It got me down for a while, but I've mostly accepted this now.

I never felt old per se, but sometimes forget how old I am cause it sounds weird to say I'm 21. came kind of fast.

There is a time in life when you realize something. This moment can come at anytime and almost anywhere. You could be walking in Wal-Mart and then realize it like a ninja attack. Then you say to yourself, "I am old..."

I am not sure if everybody can take part in this tread but I am sure that some of the older age members can say some things about this topic. What are some moments in your life that you realize that you are old?

20? Er... You're not old. Not at all. o.ó

i feel old ta reasons why

1- my moms al ready picked out my colege

2- my dog tat igot wen i was 7 just died of old age

3- 16 yr olds r flirting wit me

It isn't about being old. It is all about feeling old. haha Also I am about to be 21 soon.

Got other reason why I feel old now.

-When you realize that all the guys who you knew from high school have graduated.
-When you look back at the cartoons you watch before and find out that they are about to turn ten.

I've never said that I am old, but I always say I miss my younger days. The first time I say it is when I am 13 years old.

I was at this convention, playing Street Fighter 3rd Strike, when this kid comes and asks if Ryu's a new Naruto character and how was it possible for me to be playing my DS on the TV, because "the graphics aren't 3D".

;__;

I went to buy some pokémon cards the other day a Argos(a shop where you have to order the item you want at a counter) and when I said "yes I'll have a triple booster pack of pokémon cards please I got a funny look from the cashier and thats whenI rthought to my self...wow im old now.

I don't feel old. Aha, why should I :] Because then when I'm like 40, I'll think to myself that I'm a walking zombie.

Mentally, I am a bitter old man who hates everything; yet he has the intelligence and attitudes of a teenager. ;[
No I am not old, I don't even consider 40 to be old. 40 isn't old in this day and age, people are living longer and are generally healthier.

Well, it varies...
Sometimes things around me make me feel old, and sometimes they make me feel young.

The times I know I'm old is when I feel like life is so short that I'll die soon. :| I don't know why, I just start panicking, I guess. I kind of hate the idea of death because then it's like, I never really did much with my life... I mean, that's what it feels like. D:

I realize I was very old when I was bossing my classmates, cousins and friends around... Hmmm... Does that count?

Can't think of anything else... :D

When you can no longer understand half of what the newer members are posting due to the excessive use of a few letters as possible and numbers as letters.
Lol, that doesn't make you old. It means you're none of the below:

1. Lazy.
2. Stupid.
3. Disrespectful to the English language.
4. Think you're sooooooo cool.

So, lol don't thnk 2 mch abt 1t! Lol, just kidding.

-THe one that is most recent is when I saw a little kid with a stuff pikachu and realize that I have been a pokemon fan longer then that kid has been alive.
Man...I feel old now.
I know I have been a fan longer than he's been alive as well. Just because I know I started playing Pokémon Red a few months after it came out. Lol, it's not that you're old, it's that Pokémon is old. Been eleven years of it.

It happened to me last year, A few weeks to a month before I turned 20.

1: Most people live to be around 70 or 80. So if I was to live to 80, then 1/4 of my life was already gone.

2: Being 20 means you're totally out of your teens, no more "I'm a teenager".

3: All my friends around my age also grew up. We all got done with High school, some headed off to College right away. Most of us got jobs, and we just grew up. People I've known since like... 3 has gotten old.

4: It also hit me again when I found out one of my younger cousins is engaged. She's 17 now and getting married next year. Someone I've known all my life, grew up together is now getting married.

Lately stuff has got me to thinking. But I try not to think too much, if I die of old age then I still got a long life. No need to waste it thinking about how old I am.
