Nice I cant wait for it! I had someone make me a battery-less version of this to make into a physical cartridge but going to reuse the cart for a different on and get a new cart for it for all updates. I hope you add a title screen for the hack😁 Looking forward to the future updates for this and glad I have it as part of my physical collection! There are going to be lots of future updates. Currently, I am working on custom moves (have about 40 done). More importantly, a redditor has decided that he wants to help out on the sprites and is currently going over every sprite and redoing all the bad ones.
The future will bring better sprites, more monsters, custom moves, more character duels, more events, more map variation.
I'm also open to any recommendations the player base has to offer!
Are there any plans to release a pre-patched Rom? I play on my phone and I'm not tech savvy enough to patch a Rom on my phone.
Hello. I am ortz3 and I'm a massive Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh fan.
This game is a mod for Pokemon Fire Red which replaces all the pokemon with iconic Yu-Gi-Oh monsters.
Patch file : https://www.mediafire.com/file/2scp1b0zrx2ib2f/Yu-Gi-Oh_POK%C3%A9DUEL-2.0.zip/file
You must also download the original pokemon game: Pokemon Fire Red US 1.0 and apply this patch onto the rom using a patching software such as Lunar IPS.
Wikia: https://yugioh-fire-red.fandom.com/wiki/Yu-Gi-Oh_POKeDUEL
Discord: https://discord.gg/9vKCaAe5mK
The next update of this game will be released in a couple of months, and will include new sprites (including shiny) for every monster in the game, custom moves and significant balance changes. You can check the Discord to see what the sprites are going to look like.

Known bugs in Version 2.0
Spoiler:
- Jinzo's/Buster Blader's pokedex description is Dark Magician's
- Exodia Necross won't obey you
- If a monster with 2 potential abilities evolves into a monster with only 1 ability, there is a chance that the evolved monster won't have an ability.
Why this Game was Made
Spoiler:
I've always wanted to play a Pokemon game with Yu-Gi-Oh monsters, so instead of waiting for someone else to do it, I decided to take on the challenge and try to create one. There is such a passionate fanbase for Yu-Gi-Oh as the anime was iconic to so many people who grew up watching it. That's why the vast majority of monsters and characters that have f the Sbeen added are primarily from the original anime, however, several more modern monsters are included as well. Yu-Gi-Oh and Pokemon complement each other so well, which is why I'm very proud to have completed this game after starting this project around 6 months ago. I hope you all enjoy it and have a lot of fun playing it. Play this game however you want, however, I recommend playing it as a Nuzlocke using Min/Max levels as I explain on the official wikia for Yu-Gi-Oh POKeDUEL. But this is just a recommendation. Play it however you want!
How to Download
Spoiler:
Step 1. Download Yu-Gi-Oh Fire Red version 1.0 (it must be 1.0, not 1.1)
Step 2. Downloand Yu-Gi-Oh POKeDUEL patch file
Step 3. Download Lunar IPS
Step 4. Open Lunar IPS
Step 5. Click Apply IPS Patch
Step 6. Select Yu-Gi-Oh POKeDUEL IPS you downloaded from step 2
Step 7. Select the Fire Red ROM from step 1.
If you follow these steps, the fire red ROM will turn into Yu-Gi-Oh POKeDUEL

Hi, I'm currently facing this problem, when I encounter Archery G, my screen will same as the screen in the picture, may I know how to solve it? Thank you for such a great game.
Yubel will come eventually, maybe not in the next update but definitely in V4. Version 3 is already crammed with a ton of changes including new sprites for all the monsters. I think Yubel will either be Dark or Ghost, and then its evolutions will be Dragon/Dark or Dragon/Ghost.
when is patch 3 coming out?
Excuse me but how do I evolve my starter Blue Eyes? I've gotten it to Level 39 right now and it hasn't evolved into ultimate
Can you please make an ios app for this?
