My favorite Pokemon? Well, I have two, actually. It's these guys.
At first, it was their looks that drew me in--they look very robotic and well, I absolute adore robots. But when I began to work with them, I fell head over heels simply because of their power. They're heavy hitters and got me...
Nope. I'm in my 30s and I play Pokemon. Of course, everyone who knows me also knows that I collect Transformers and that I'm a geek at heart. So they don't tease me about it at all. (And it wouldn't work if anyone tried!)
Definitely not. I've played the first Gen and I enjoy it, but I can't claim that it's the be-all/end-all of Pokemon.
As to how I feel about purists, I don't really care, as long as they don't try and tell me that Gen V sucks. The moment someone starts up with that, I tune them out. It took five...
I'd use Vanillite and tell it to keep breathing ice crystals on everything. You know, last year we had a huge storm in my area; I really could've used an Ice type Pokemon to keep the perishables fresh. (We had no electricity for nearly two days--it wasn't fun.)
Hammer Arm would probably be pretty painful and Bite would be no picnic, either. Drill Peck would probably hurt massively as well.
...you know, maybe it's not such a bad thing that Pokemon don't exist. They could be pretty vicious if they wanted, I would imagine.
Pretty much constantly--I wouldn't have Golurk on my team if I didn't think it looked awesome. It's the same for Golett, only I think it's so cute that I actually don't want to evolve the little sweetie. (That little face is so cute; I can't help myself, really.)
Kanto - Celadon City. It just felt like home there.
Johto - Cherrygrove City. I rather liked it, as it seemed so laid back.
Hoenn - Lillycove, since it's so close to the beach.
Sinnoh - Jubilife City, because I like to be near the GTS.
Unova - Icirrus City. Why? Two words--Dragonspiral Tower...
Let's see. A few of my faves are Chimchar (so cuuuuuuute!), Palkia (sounds like he wants to eat you), Electivire (it just sounds awesome!), Golett (it sounds so adorable...!) and Golurk (has a bit of a robotic tone to it, which makes it full of win).
Don't forget Attract! Ugh, I hated that battle; it was so annoying! Once I beat her, I kinda wanted to go out and get myself a hamburger. Or a nice juicy steak, medium rare.
Oh yeah, that wonderful Volcarona. Why that bug won't just shrivel up and die is beyond me. I always flinch a...
On Black, I'm looking at nearly 450. Thankfully, it hasn't gone up because I'm in the midst of a shiny hunt and won't save again until I get my shiny. On Pearl, I have about 990 hours. On the others, I'm not really sure--I think I have around 500 hours on Emerald? But again, I'm not sure...

Seriously, my team is not my team without my Golurk. The big guy always has to be with me, no matter what. And sometimes, when I'm feeling a little crazy, my whole team will be nothing but Golurk...
Latios in Ruby. Ugh, that thing gave me nightmares. No matter what I threw at him, he broke out of it. I chased him for a week and kept emptying out my bag, trying to catch him. My husband, seeing how frustrated I was, finally took pity on me and sent over a couple of Master Balls he had on his...
Klutz and Hustle. Klutz is seemingly completely useless and Hustle, oh dear heavens, Hustle...
I tried training a Deino into Hydreigon. Notice I said "tried". I couldn't tough it out because of that awful Ability. Every attack missed! It was a nightmare.
In Black, I nicknamed my Golurk Riser. Why? That little Golett I caught quickly rose through the ranks and became the team leader, besting even those with a type advantage. If I needed a win, I would call upon him and he would get it. He would "rise" to the occasion for me so I named him Riser...
