Okay, I started this challenge about 5 days ago. I took the poison challenge, as this gave me the chance to use most of the pokemon I liked but didn't deem worthy to be in my main team :P. Sorry I didn't post when or before I started, but my connection was a bit down :(.
Anyway, it went mostly...
To get that challenge completed, you'd have to seriously overlevel shedinja and make sure you always have 1st hit and it's a KO on any poke that might hurt you. It's doable, but I don't have AR, don't even know how to use it...
If you guys don't mind, I'd like an ingame mono-bug team, up to 3rd generation pokemon. No EVs will be necessary since I won't bother training them anyway. Remember, this is for emerald, where the elemental punches are still considered special attacks. :).
Must contain Armaldo, Heracross, Scizor...
Weezing @ Leftovers
Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
252 HP, 60 Atk, 96 Def, 4 SAtk, 96 SDef
Sludge Bomb
Fire Blast/Thunderbolt/Explosion/Rest/Destiny Bond/Pain Split/Rests
Will-o-Wisp
Haze
A bit of extra boost for Sludge Bomb. EVs are adjustable according to preferences. I suggest Pain Split for...
Let's give it a try, shall we?
Well I've given you some movesets for what you have, but imho, loose a couple of them and get a decent sponge and a hardcore special sweeper. And remember two things. Never use more than one move of the same type on the same pokemon and almost never trade...
Fearow has the better movepool, Drill Peck being a strong Flying move. But the main difference is that Fearow is a better head on physical attacker, while Pidgeot is a bit more defensive. I'd go with Fearow.
Monotype teams are quite old. The only real challenge is a bug team, and on Emerald, where things are a bit uglier than on the other games. And that's not really that hard to pull off either. The rest are not that hard to play. In FR/LG it's a bit trickier to find 6 pokemon of the same type, but...
This is getting painful. There's nothing wrong with 3rd generation. I personally only rate anything other that 4th, because I kinda hate it. Also, the best team raters around here didn't forget how to rate 3rd gen, I assure you. Beside the point, he already got good ratings, but they were made...
You totally missed my point. I stated in my first post that you must watch out for common weaknesses. That doesn't mean you have to get a pokemon of every damn type out there. If you have a tank you don't need a wall, they're basically the same think, only a tank can do a bit of damage. And I...
Seriously dude, first get rid of the ideea that you need a pokemon of each damn type. I had that ideea the first time I played pokemon, but trust me, it's only good for the TV show. It doesn't make a good team. Not at all. And yeah, Shuckle SUCKS. Badly. Until you get those ideeas through your...
First Question: The best tank in Emerald is Skarmory. You could go for a decent Rhydon if you want it to do some damage, but it's not really a tank. Skarm walls everything. And...SPIKES :D
Second Comment...: HELL NO. A good team consists of a Tank, a Sponge, 1-2 Physical Sweepers and 1-2...
Overall, you desperately need a Tank (a real one, not Aggron) and a Sponge. A GOOD special sweeper would be nice too, since you use a staller Sceptile. But it will get you through the game nicely anyway. I suggest switching Crawdaunt or something for a Gardevoir with Calm Mind, and you get a...
Oki, this is a simple Q and A thread, for noob questions from what I understand. Maybe the wrong section to ask, but consider I haven't visited the forums ever since the 4th generation came out and I found it rather lame.
What's this FC : xxxx - xxxx - xxxx that everyone hase in their sigs? Can...
That doesn't mean that ubers can't be beaten by OU pokemon. I kinda took out an entire uber team with my CM Alakazam. The guy was a damn noob, but that's what happens when you have no ideea how to use them. Then again, a team of OU can take out a uber team if it was specially created with that...
Actually can someone just give me the EVs for
