Do you need to wear Glasses?

If you do, do you like it and what are you views about it? Or do you just wear contacts?

If you don't, how do you feel about people around you wearing glasses and how do you prevent yourself from wearing them.

For me, I do, I wear them and its kind of troublesome to wear them.

    Nope. I don't need glasses, for I have a 20/20 vision.

They're still considered normal or ordinary for me even if they wear their eye glasses. It must be difficult trying to avoid it from breaking or falling off from your face though.

Well, what I do is to stay away from the computer or other gadgets frequently, to avoid straining of my eyes, and usually just watch the trees to make them relax. I also try my best to have enough sleep, even if I tend to do a lot of (school)work.

Yes, I do. I own a pair and only wear them when I'm at home. When I'm out, I always wear contacts. Glasses make me look different from what I normally look like, from other people's comments. I look much better without glasses in my opinion, but I'm not uncomfortable wearing them around other people.

I've wore glasses ever since middle school and I don't really mind it. Usually after awhile I'll forget that I'm even wearing them most days. Though I could get by without wearing glasses because I only need them for my left eye which is weaker than my right eye which dominates my vision meaning that I could go without them and see the world as if I had 20/20 vision but that would mean my left eye would never get better. I like them but I do need new ones some time soon.

I'm nearsighted and should wear glasses, but I usually don't. Partially because I lost them.

I have a lazy eye on the ride side, so I technically do need em. Could have been fixed when I was younger, but those damn eye patches were too much for me. No one wants to be the kid who has to wear both glasses and a patch at the same time, even if they're only 8. Its just one of those things. :/

I am nearsighted and have worn glasses since 1st grade. Personally, I don't look too bad with glasses on, though I think I look much better without them. I wish I could get contacts or laser eye surgery but they're both too expense and my dad says I'm not responsible enough to have contacts and thinks I'll lost them too often. I disagree and really want to buy contacts on my own.

Sometimes I wear these UV protection "sunglasses" that just look like normal glasses because I think I look nice in them. It's funny. I do all those things that are supposed to be bad for your eyes like staring at screens and reading in the dark and yet my vision is still fine.

I have awful vision. I can't read something unless it's within 6" of my face. I've been wearing glasses for about 10 years now.

    Fortunately for me I actually look really great in glasses and feel more uncomfortable around people in contacts. I have daily contacts I dispose of after I wear them for a day, but I'd like to get a pair to wear a few hours of the day when I'm using my big headphones or something and my glasses are being a pain ^^;

I've been wearing glasses since the third grade. I do have contacts but I only wear them on special occasions like special dinners or when it's wiser to wear glasses than contacts. Such as conventions (usually when I am cosplaying), amusement parks (so I don't have to take my glasses off every ride) so on and so forth.

I've been told that I look better with and without glasses so it really just comes down to personal preference I guess. I think I look all right both ways.

No, I don't personally wear glasses.

Unless you're of the female sex I don't really think any different of you whether you wear glasses or not.
However... If you're a chick and wear glasses then congratulations, your charm just went up about twenty points. (One of my few weaknesses... What? I'm only human!)

Technically I do, but my vision is pretty decent without them. I'm not sure what kind of bad vision I have; I think they said astigmatism when I was a kid, but stuff farther away is blurrier to me than stuff right in front of me, which I don't think is astigmatism.

I've always thought glasses are cool and have wanted them all my life. So it was awesome when I finally got them in middle school. It's not so fun now when I am an adult and don't have the funds to get new glasses. Still desperately need a new prescription. :(

I've worn glasses ever since I started secondary school. I am short sighted so I wear them all the time and they help me see boards and screens.I look better with glasses on and I'll only take them off when I go to bed or when they are not needed. I like my glasses they hide my ugly mug.

I've had to wear glasses since I was eight years old or so. By now I'm so used to wearing them that it actually feels weird to me if I'm not wearing them. o.O I remember trying to go without them when I first got them, but now...there's no way I can manage it, my vision is so bad without them. I'm talking like extremely blurred unless something's only a few inches from my face.

I can't say if I like them or dislike them, they're just...there, by now. Haven't ever tried wearing contacts, those seem to me like they'd be too much trouble.

I sure do, and I love them. Well, I did. I'll love them again when I get a new frame, cause the one I have on right now are broken. Blah

Anyway, I've grown to really like wearing glasses, though it wasn't always like that. For the longest time, I really wanted to wear contacts, simply cause they seemed cooler. But after a while, I realized that it'd be just a hassle. And besides, with the right pair of glasses, anyone can look great, and I think the pair I have on right now fits that bill.

I do not wear glasses, but sometimes I wish that I did. I just love the look of glasses on people.
