I've decided to play this game in japanese to practice it a bit, it's pretty fun having to decipher all the attack's name and stuff. Having no idea what the next trainer is going to send out because I don't know what a シシコ is a nice incentive to practice reading and vocabulary.

Part 1:

Okay, started my game with tepig temporarily until I was able to catch pokemon at floccessy ranch, caught a male riolu, female psyduck, female azuril and male mareep. Trained my mareep to the level my tepig was at that momemt and stored it in the box for the challenge of only pokemon from previous gen. since i'm playing in gen V i'm choosing pokemon from gen I = IV.

Continued the storyline battling Hugh with a paralized mareep as a hándicap, won and rescued herdier from the frustrated team plasma member who threw the frustration tm in his frustration (lol). Then went back with alder and battled the 2 trainers and gained some exp for mareep and riolu. Went back to Aspertia city, healed my pokemon and went to the gym.

When battling the first two trainers before cheren, had a Little difficulty predicting when the AI was going to use attaking moves in order to be able to use counter with riolu. Won the 2 battles and gained some exp for riolu and mareep who were level 11 and 13 respectively. Used a potion before battling cheren on each one.

During the battle cheren's patrat kept on using work up around 2 or 3 times and tackled and left my riolu in 17 hp, succesfuly used counter with riolu and Knoked out patrat in 1 hit. Then cherens lilipup came out, with level 13, I thought my riolu woulnd't stand the next hit and decided to use quick attack, and then he survived the tackle with 1 hp, "omg I could have used counter" thats what i told mysefl. Then had to switch hoping to get some exp for riolu using mareep. Mareep got hit with tackle, resisted it fine, next round used thindershock hoping it would last at least 3 more hits from lilipup, nope, lilipup decided to crit and on top of it was faster than mareep. Next turn lilipup attacked and left mareep at 3 hp, luckily it got paralized from static and mareep was able to deal the finishing blow in the last turn with thundershock.

I think I can continue with part 2, and the only path I have available is 34, unless there's by any chance a teleporter like in some enemy team hideouts that would teleport me randomly to another room.

Gen 1 only for the first badge? Well luckily there's enough decent options with that for GSC. After claiming a Totodile and naming it Banned, I caught a Pidgey (STARTER) as soon as I got a Pokeball after beating up my Rival (THIEF). He was joined by ARMSTRONG the Geodude.

Between them they made light work of Bellsprout Tower, and Falkner's Gym. Now I can use gen 2 again!

Janna is casually walking down the Hideout, when she sees a Team Rocket Admin in front of her. When he notices her, he runs to the panel with big red button. Janna sends out her Pokémon and take down the admin before he can push the button. Her Pokémon start celebrating and accidentally push that button themselves. Ups... NEW GLOBAL RULE HAS BEEN ACTIVATED FOR EVERYONE!

Kaiba took down armed agent with single normal monster card and without Duel Disk. I think you'll be fine.

I would consider Roselia as Stage 1.

Long only pokes gives me literally only two choices: Ekans (at exactly 2m!) and Onix. I opted to go with the traded one - sure, annoyance after level 11 due to lack of Badge powers for traded mons, but EXP boost is welcome. I got a Bellsprout called Fodder for the trade, and then traded with Sheep's VC Gold and her Metal Coat to get a Level 6 Steelix (ROCKY because in-game trade). Take that, Onix's base 45 Attack! Also threw on Mud Slap for STAB and an easier time grinding on Mareep and Ekans.

Ekans was then caught, and so began the great grind. It eventually got Poison Sting which helped for the two-Poliwag-with-Bubble trainer, amongst others. Steelix hit level 11 in Union Cave but I managed to get through it despite some disobeying here and there. TR were easy enough, and Bugsy's Scyther surprisingly survived a Rock Throw but still died easily. Ekans learning Bite shortly beforehand sure helped too, despite it not being a Special Attack. Harden doesn't help with Bite. >:]

Thanks to Janna :)). I had to go back and grind with a level 7 Pikachu. But oh yes.. Now i have a new Ace.. And who is that? That's FARFETCH'D OOO YEAHH.. You guys ain't listenin wrong. Farfetch'd is my new partner Boyy (Seriously, this hack gave him major buff in speed and moveset). Rose, Lt. Ducky, and Bubba is the main MVP here where we breezed through with only Rose and Nightfang knocked out by rock blast. Btw, now i'm Monsieur Rich mwahahaha (Accidentally found the Amulet coin so yup)

Get-Together 2019 in Pokémon Platinum

PART 2

With majority of types banned for me, I had to plan carefully how to beat Gardenia. I decided to bench Poirot, because it would do nothing in the long run. Caught Budew (Rosemary) and Wooper (Monk) and trained them up little bit.

Battle with Mars was interesting. Her Purugly's Fake Out was able to take down both Budew and Monk in one hit and I really only won by putting it to sleep and attacking with all I had. Her other Pokémon - Zubat, Bronzong and Yanma felt down to Sherlock.

Before I could fight Gardenia, I had to find her. She was hiding on Route 216, so I got to train a little bit before facing her. I was pretty confident in facing her with Allen and Rosemary and after being swept by her Roserade once, I was able to put it to sleep quickly and Rosemary took it down. Rest of her team was only fodder that had no chance against Allen and Rosemary.

And with that I'm going to update map once again in about an hour or so.
