Can someone explain to me how GP works? I'm new to the game (Just arrived in second gym City) and I want to know if it's worth doing some breeding

GP or generation points are acquired from breeding, you can do that at Shawmock town. GP are ranked from 0 to 5 and I believe they are worth it if you want to have strong pokemon and due to some of the pokemon fights, you will encounter in the future.

Right now my 0GP Haxrous have 478 atk (unchanged by nature but increased by IV) at lvl 103, while my GP 5 Absol has 537 atk (same conditions as Haxrous) only at lvl 90. As you can see there is a significant difference. Not to mention Haxrous's base att stat is 147 and Absol's is only 130.

There are certain requirements for Gp to be passed down. One is that the pokemon you are breeding must be in their last evolution. The second is that GP is not always passed down to the next egg from a pokemon. The chances of it being passed down is their difference in genes. The LESS similar the pokemon are too each other the HIGHER chance of GP increasing. To save some trouble you can check the pokemon's GP when they're an egg so only hatch the ones you need and toss the others away. Three is that when breeding the egg's GP will be the least GP of the parents. For example Breeding GP 3 with a GP 2 it will always result in a GP 2 eggs. Because of that, you have to have two pokemon with the same GP to pass to the next GP rank. For example, two GP 3 will result in GP 3 or GP 4 eggs.

Just a heads up if you breed with only one (or two if you're not using ditto) pokemon you will always get a dead-end of GP 4 because of their genes being 100% similar. You can check the similarity from the scientist next to the old man next to the daycare. By that point, I recommend breeding another pokemon in the same egg group so that you will end with at least 2 different pokemon with GP 5.

So when you start some tips. Get Sask incense from a farmer right of sylen city, increase eggs when held by a pokemon. Get a ditto, use power glove on your dad's truck at the start of the game. Check gender ratio of pokemon, some have more chances of being one gender than the other. Cause you need one female and one male to breed, of course. Remember when breeding with different pokemon in the same egg group the egg will always be the female pokemon.

I recommend getting one set (male and female) of one pokemon to GP 4 then start breeding another pokemon of the same egg group. Then you can just use the first set of pokemon as partners for the new set. For example if my second set of pokemon is Absol and I already have a female and male set of Blaziken from 1 to GP 4. Then whatever gender my absol is at GP 2 or whatever I can breed it with the counterpart Blaiken. Just when at GP 4 I make sure there is a male and female Absol so I can have a GP 5 Blakiken and Absol, cause of the female thing. It took me a couple of hours to reach GP 5 but you just have to be lucky and patient.

Hey Stochastic, is there a plan to eventually put a Mega Stone for Empoleon in the game? both the other 4th gen starters have one.

Where are the 4 most remote areas in the regions where you can battle the 4 people again? And any other things or secrets to do until the next update?

Those will also be implemented in the next update. Things to do while waiting for it are trying to catch wild pokemon with a card ball to have more chance to get a card you need, trying to understand how the apriplum method to get money works (i'm currently trying to understand it), rebattling previous bosses, training your team ,catching new pokemons to be closer to complete the pokedex and climbing the trainer tower (and the prism tower in the future, it's harder) (requires a very high leveled team and all kinds of medicines for HP and PP).

Thanks. Unfortunately, I can't enter prism tower because I didn't read the warnings carefully and I used cheats. I can't exactly undo it unless I restart lol. But that also raises another question can I enter the towers if I new game+? Kinda want to make sure before attempting it, because it is actually pretty easy to pass the game again without cheats. I have only been using the money hack for the shinies. However, I do have some pokemon I really want and kinda don't want to grind levels again.

fun fact if u havent started new game plus yet you can do that and it will solve the problem tho u will have to start the game from scratch at least you will get to carry 6 pokemon with u and al the EVs and IVs u invested into them will carry over as well............. oh and a little bit of advice there......... keep doing the new game plus option but reset (f12 by default) and restarting the new game plus as doing this will for some reason increase the amount of bonus experience u will gain as well as the amount of cookies u get to sell................. my highest amount was just over 120% bonus exp and about 10 cookies roughly

Alright if I can enter the towers if I new game+ then I want to get my 6 pokemon to GP 5 before restarting. Do I keep the items my pokemon hold too? And what is Wiseraph's egg group? Is there a way to evolve pokemon that need to be traded like Scizor

I am at Factorial Town playing randomizer and the final robot turned out to be Valkyira which has 897 health and one shot kills all my pokemon. Even if one pokemon survives it barely does any damage against it and the leftovers it has heals it back to full. It outspeeds all my pokemon and I cannot pass this point without it. I was really enjoying the game and Would like to keep playing but Its impossible to pass this point rn and my team is all level 70+.

that's why you don't randomize this game. oof. You should ask the developer to patch your save file so that bosses aren't randomized anymore (or simply add the option for everyone in the game settings)

Did you happen to get Petshop at some point? It's got an ability that lowers all of the opponents stats by one upon entering the battle.
If not, are you using cards for your Pokemon?
Maybe you can teach one of your Pokemon that can take a hit an attack to lower speed or special attack/attack. Or get one with Sturdy to get your first attack off.
And Knock Off/Thief to get rid of the leftovers.
I don't remember if status conditions work during that battle, if they do you got more options to try.

Light-type is weak to Dark, Ghost and has resistance to Light, Fairy, Electric, Fire. But then again, light types can still kill Dark and ghost types. RIP. BUT Valkyira is still a flying type. Electric type won't be affected because of light but rock and ice types are still super effective against Valkyira. Useful tip is that light types has no effect against steel types.

Ways to beat the boss Valkyira include: leveling you're pokemon higher with the free farms (against pokemon's at lvl 75) at the waterway stop between Krystolny town and route 110, you can use lucky eggs and/or exp shards to help: Or drug your pokemon by using IV candies you can purchase at roarin town: The final options I give you that works 100% is spam revive items until the pokemon struggles and kill itself.

The problem is that he can't get to the pokemon farms at the waterway stop yet, because he needs the boat to go ahead of Asutra city, and to get the boat he has to defeat the Asutra gym leader, but to do so he has to defeat that boss he's stuck at. You know, that's a pretty shitty situation

Hey, I am new and I have a question. I've read that Pelistorm is pretty badass poke. So bought a male wingull in Asutra City, grinded to level 50. But it still didn't evolved yet. Did i made something wrong?

It's pelipper that evolves into pelistorm, not wingull.
