Cygnus. Am i like the only one that uses it?
    It's free, and the best!

Easily displayed, and easy to understand and use.

I'm currently using two: Thingy (for when I get lazy and want to text edit using a table file), and then Cygnus (which is basically the same thing as Hex Workshop... because when I used HW I got a trial version... is there a non-trial version, considering almost everyone here prefer it?)

X-aveon, good to know that I'm not the only one who uses it, also ;P

zel, maybe the HW in PHO is a non-trial one. :\
    Not sure...

Anyways, currently, I am using Hexecute.
Why? 'Cause thethethethe suggested that hex editor to me. :)

    And it's a nice editor. ;)

Hex Workshop...you have to buy to use...sadly, except the trial version.

Anyway, I use Translhextion. I find it easy to use now, seeing as I have had it for two years.

I use Translhextion. It's a nice hex editor to use. I also use Cygnus, because it's really fast on my computer.

I use Windhex. I've tried Hex Workshop, but I still prefer Windhex. There's my vote.

Wow... I didn't expect this many replies so quickly. :o *shocked*

It appears some of you don't know that HexWorkshop has a function similar to table files, it's called a "character filter". Anyway, I thought you'd all like to know that. :P

    Hex Workshop<Trial Version>
It's the only one I have, so I use it.
It's a pain to redownload it, though...

Blazichu, and all the people with the trial version of HW, you don't need to buy it :) I somehow found a non-trial version on the hex workshop website itself, since I couldn't find a keygen (and the one I downloaded first was a major virus, because of which I had to format all my HDD's this week >.> )

EDIT: Oh crap... Just checked "About hex workshop" in the proggy and it seems that my version is a demo anyway T_T

EDIT2: Also Darthatron, where d'you find that charachter filter thingy? Can't find it anywhere in HW O.o

    Options>Preferences>Display
There's a character filter option there. Press 'New' and create a terrible table. It's still not that useful as a text search still works with ascii.

HW crashes once I give in the name and press ok...
EDIT: And the same thing happens when I press edit instead of new...

Yes, you can crack serial numbers to fake the registration code, this way it won't be a trail version.

As I said in my previous post, the keygen I found had a major virus in it which made me format all my hard drives this week T_T
EDIT: And I can't find any keygens for the newest version (5.1.4...)

Well, I have 5.1.3, and I have a working keygen. I don't know if the newest version has one already :/ I had the same problem with 5.1.4 so I download the earlier version(5.1.3) and worked.

Erm.. The keygens for version 4 still work for v5..
But, let's talk about the editors, not the keygens =P
